Jackle look a little stunned but smiled. "Well let's see here." The waiter walked up.
"What will it be."
"A small cheese and peperoni pizza please."
The waiter nodded "Anything to drink."
"Water please" Jackle looked over at Denim

"Water for me too please."She said and then looked over at him. "So what do you do when your not working and down at the riverbank?"She asked after the waiter left. She rested her elbows on the table and her chin in her hands and looked at him curious.

"I normally wander around New York." He smiled at her as the waiter left coming back with their water then leaving again. "But mostly i'm sitting by the riverbank or at the pub in harlem."

Denim nodded. "So you know this place like the back of your hand then huh?"she figured. "Maybe Ill come walking with you some time."She said takinga drink of her water and tucking some hair behind her ear.

"That'd be nice." Alright so he fell for her. He couldn't deny it. The waiter came back with their pizza and handed each of them a slice on a plate. "So how long ya been here Denim?" He asked as the waiter walked away.

"Um...not long a week or two maybe."She shrugged unsure. She never really payed attention to things like that. She watched him and picked up the peice of pizza takinga small bite. Her eyes widened and she grinned as she chewed it. She swallowed. "Oh this is delicious." she smiled a bit excited as she took another bite.

Jackle smiled at her. Taking a bite of his own. He swallowed. "Glad you like it Miss Denim." He chuckled a bit and began to eat his slice.

She nodded eating some more. They had never allowed food like this at the orphanage. She smiled looking over at Jackle and was glad she got lost in Brooklyn or she never would have met him...at least not yet.

Jackle cut her another slice then cut himself one. Smiling at her as he ate.

"thank you."she said taking the piece and eating it. She sat back and took a drink of her water getting full. She wasnt a big eater but the cheese was making her full. "You staying at the loding house tonight?"she asked.

"probably not. I'll probably camp out by the bank. But i can show ya there." He was guy so he pretty much finished off the pizza.

"Ok.."She smiled. Best to have him take her or knowing her shed get lost. She finished her water and leaned back again. "That was delicious. Thank you so much. "She said and reached into her pocket pulling out some money to help pay.

Jackle shook his head. "I've got it." He handed the waiter the money and got up taking Denim's hand. "Come before it gets dark."

Prince arrived at Lombardi's, the bell above the door going ding as the came in. "Okay, kid, you are about to taste the best food ever," she said with a broad smile. "Ya gonna love dis," she said as she sat Innosence down on the ground and lead her towards the counter.

Innocence held tightly to beary. If anything she was scared of groups of people. She took Prince's hand as she lead her to the counter. She didn't say anything but looked around.
