Gimmick walked up to the distribution center dragging her feet. It was very hot out especially for it being so early in the morning.
"Can I help you?" Wiesel asked raising a brow at the unfamiliar girl standing in front of him.
"Yeah can give me 100 papes." She said going into her pocket to get 50 cents to pay him.
"Alright girly." He said rolling his eyes at her giving her the 100 papes she asked for. She was used to people underestimating her and figured he didn't think she would be able to sell them by the expression he gave her.
"Thanks." She said walking away studying the headlines for the day.

"50 Papes, Mr. Wiesel, straight up."Crutchy limped over, putting up his pay and starting to move away once he received them. He still wasn't exactly comfortable around the Delancies just yet but then again he never had been. He hopped back past Gimmick almost, stuffing his papes under his other arm.

Gimmick took a step back trying to avoid Crutchy bumping into her. She raised a brow at him seeing his crutch wondering if it was real or just a clever way of getting people to buy from him.

"Oh hiya Gimmick. Pleasure to be seein' you again."He grinned, barely hanging onto his crutch. It wasn't doing him much good lately and his leg was still causing far too much pain. "Didn't know you were still around these parts personably."

She smiled. "Nice to see you too Crutchy." she sighed. "I've been around. Haven't stayed in one place for to long in a while and I think I'll be staying here in Manhatten for a while."

"Well that's good then. We need more good Newsies you know since those dirty rotten thieves keep stealing from our crew."He frowned at that and knew how much it distressed poor Jack these days. "But you wouldn't abandon us, right?"

She smiled at the complement about her being a good newsie and then frowned slightly. "No I never abandon you guys but.. people have been leaving you guys? Like who?" She asked leaning her back against a wall. She figured she had been gone longer then she thought making her out of the loop.

"Jack hasn't told me who yet.."he lowered his voice, crouching down a bit as he held onto his crutch carefully. "But I have my suspicions. I'm thinking..maybe we should spy on them, get even ya know. We can't afford to lose anymore Newsies at the rate we've been going lately."He nodded sincerely.

"Yeah.." She nodded thinking for a moment. "Alright I'm in." she smirked. She knew that they had been losing a lot of newsies for lots of reasons be it getting to old or finding better work else where.

He smiled, not thinking it had been an idea she would go for but as long as someone else was in it.."GOod."He nodded and then leaned back up on his crutch, straightening himself up. "Now that means we'll have to get inside the group...you know sorta join em for a while until we get enough information to fight with. YOu still in?"

She nodded slowly a little unsure about if she should do this. She began to nodd faster. "Yeah... I'm still in." She smiled figureing if things really went wrong she could always leave. Gimmick knew it would probably be really easy to get into the group and get the information out of them pretty easy anyway.

"I guess we could hang around and get friendly with the people we suspect the most." She said pausing to think for a second. "And then see who sells and who doesn't. They have to be getting money from somewhere." She nodded.

He nodded along with her, thinking hard. He knew they had to do this. Or who else would? Somebody had to bring down the Raconteurs one way or another. "Right. Plus we need to find out who all is in charge, ya know, that kind of thing. Or if anybody in there needs help. What do you think?"
