Minty spun around, shocked. He thought he had come into the lot alone. He took out his coins and counted them. "One twenty five" he said, smirking at her.

'ah.."She shrugged. "Well I was close"She smirked, and tossed him an apple out of her pocket, "here...you win"she said taking another bite form her own apple. "50?"she asked now guessing how many papers he was going to buy. "no.. 30?" she sized him up a and then smirked again.

Minty laughed out loud and smiled at Jester. "Well, I hadn't figured that out yet." He tried to one hand juggle the apple, tossing it up in the air and back down a few times before holding it still. "It's been forever since I've done this. How many do you go for?"

She laughed a bit and shook her head looking down, "20.."She said shrugging. "Im terrible at it...thats too many as it is.."she nodded and shrugged. "Been forever?"shea sked, "What have you been doing?'

Minty shrugged. "Eh, I used to do it back home, but then...we lived in a small town, not much need for tons of newsies runnin' around everywhere. I gave it up when I finally saw so many kids under me. But, then I got over here, and...I'm the one that needs the money now." He smiled and nudged her. "Aw, but you can't be that bad, with looks like that."

"oh..."She said. "Well..."She grinned, "Its like riding a bike, I think you do better then you think"She grinned. At his comment she laughed lightly and shrugged. "Its not that.."She said, 'I just... dont really um.. pay much attention, doing.. other things..."She said giving him an innocent look though there was a bit of mischief in her eyes., "and by the time i realize im suppose to be selling its too late, and the next additions out and it starts all over again"she grinned at him. "

She looked down and frowned a bit. "Hm..."She said and then looked up and gave him a bright smile she shrugged. "Um... Bottle alley, the Harbor.. Oh oh! "She siad. "The park, you try the park"she nodded. "Its guarenteed." she shrugged. "want some help?'she asked.

NIck leaned against eth building on the far end, he wasnt going here to buy papers. He was just there... in reality he was wondering if hed run into lucky again. So far he hadnt seen heer. Hed leave in a few minutes if she didnt come. NOt like she was expecting him.
