She looked up at him, "You'll be here?" she asked, she almost knew that he'd protect her and for some reason that made her feel safe. She rested her head on his shoulder and let out an almost contneted sigh.

He smiled down at her and held her close. "Yeah... I'll be here, if ya want me here. I mean I can't stay here over night, some of the girls might think that I'm... well that I'm trying to do something... or something," he said chuckling. "But if you want me here, I'll stay as long as I can."

She chuckled a bit, "I finally heard about you're reputation.." she smiled up at him, her face glowed shen she did. "I can see why the girls would be a bit uneasy with you here, but.." She nodded a bit. "I'd rather you with me, then me alone. If I really did see Trevor then, I don't know what to do.. hiding, that solved about as much as running.."

He chuckled as well. "Alright, then I'll stay. As far as your brother is concerned," he said glancing towards the window quickly, "if he is here, as long as your with me, and I have a say in it, you'll be staying wherever you want to stay. The heck with your brothers... I say you can be a little selfish. Just this once," he said before he kissed her cheek.

She blushed a bit and then smiled at him, "You're way to good to me." And she meant that, it was nice to have someone willing to fight for her. She liked that, she really did. Sure, her brothers had at one point taken care of her like that but, not the same way. "I'm glad I've got you, don't know what I'd do otherwise.." Probably break and go home, but she didn't want to.

He smiled at her. "I'm glad I got you too," he said nodding. "And as far as I gotta say in what goes on... you won't have to do without me at all," he reassured her as he squeezed her shoulders in a hug. "Promise."

"Never known you to lie," she said with a smile. She snapped her fingers. "Mush, you promised to show me around New York. You should take me on the town.." She knew it was dangerous but, as long as she was with him, she didn't care if her brother's found her. She grinnned at him, "Come on , chere. You did say you would.."

"Right now?" he asked her with a small smile. "Well... I suppose if you really want to. I could take you down to Coney Island for sure! That's quite the site, and we can stop at the statue of liberty on the way. Sound okay to you?" he asked her with a small smile.

She nodded and grabbed his hands, tugging him to his feet as she went to grab her coat and her shawl. She ran her hand threw her hair a bit, as she spun around putting on her coat and shawl. She glowed, like a pixie. "Come on, Mush.." She coudln't seem to help herself from being happy, she was going to see New York. With someone she cared for.

Mush laughed as he buttoned up his coat once more. "Okay okay!" he said pulling his hat tighter around his hears. "Ya look real nice," he said nodding to her with a soft smile. She just... glowed, she was so pretty. "So... Statue of Liberty, then Coney Island," he asked offering her an arm.

She nodded and took his arm, "Thank you.." she didn't think she was pretty but she sure felt that wy when he looked at her. She nodded, "Yeah, let's go.."

He smiled to her broadly and escorted her out the door.

((Since there is no Statue of Liberty we'll just say they went there, and skip right to Coney Island, if that works for you. You mind starting?))

Cheater walked up the stairs whistling. She wasn't exactly happy, nor was she sad, angry, confused... or anything, really. It was all in the middle.

With a small sigh, she jumped onto her bed and lay there, looking at the ceiling.

Phoenix pushed open the door and made a beeline for her bunk, eager to get into some dry, if not cleaner, clothes. She sighed in contentment as she sat down on her bunk and wrapped her arms around herself and her nice dry, warm shirt. She tossed her hair out of her eyes, noticing Cheater. "Oh, hello."

Cheater looked up and raised an eyebrow. "Hello." She didn't know if she had seen Phoenix before, but then again, she had never been good with faces. "'S it raining outside?"
