Alanna sat on the window seal, reading. She was looking out over the winter snow. She smiled a bit. "Heh, I'm glad I'm not out there. Never saw snow before..." She couldn't help the smile, she blinked a bit when she recognized someone on the street. "Uh oh.."

Mush made his way in the lodging house, carefully. He was worried about coming into a girl's lodging house, and seeing things he shouldn't. So he was cautious. He saw no one around, so headed up and knocked on the bunk room door. "Ummm... hello?" he called.

Lanna spun around, startled. She thought it was, oh no it was Mush. Only Mush. She smiled at him. "Hello.." she managed, her hand to her rapid beating heart.

He smiled at her as he opened the door a little wider. "Hi!" he said as he came inside. "Nice place you got here... sorry, I didn't mean to scare you," he said chuckling slightly. "You alright?"

He smiled and nodded slightly. "Yeah... I'm sorry about that. I've been busy, and Manhattan has been going through a change in leaders recently since Jack just left. Then... well, it was busy," he said nodding. "But I'm alright... how are you?"

She gave him a soft smile, "That whole new leaders thing.. I kind of understand.. they've been talking about a new Leader here too.." She nodded a bit and blinked. "Wait, Cowboy left?" she'd heard about Jack Kelly. You couldnt' sell papers and not know about Jack Kelly. "I didn't know he was planning on leaving.."

"Yeah... went to Santa Fe," Mush said. "I thought just about everyone in New York heard about that. I heard that Dodger was going to be leader of the Bronx now though. Yeah... he left a couple of days ago." He walked over to her and sat down beside her.

"You'll be fine," he said nodding. "You'll hide for now. They don't know your here for sure do they? If it is him, he can only look so long. He'll give up eventually." That's what Mush was hoping for anyway. He put a protecitve arm around her. "If you want to stay here, you're going to stay here."
