Salene looked at the Murder and shrugged once more, "No, but the streets of Delhi are no kinder, nor London." She stared at the smoke from the cigarette wafting as she rested that hand on her knee. "Truth be told this is the longest conversation I've had in... months.."

Murder chuckled. "...I went three years without saying a word once. So I know the feeling." She finished her cigarette, tossing it in the snow.

Salene nodded a bit letting the smoke waft from the cigarette, she managed a smile and took one final drag before she tossed it. "What changed?"

Murder smiled. "I found someone who understood me even if I didn't talk...made talking not such a big deal." She chuckled. "...and yes, I know. I'm not a sap, I swear."

"Ah," Salene gave the girl a grin. "True love changes things. Always does."

Murder smiled back. "...yeah. It does. Don't know what I'd do without him." She chuckled. "We're vicious..but suited for one another." She leaned back. "...so how you planning on making money?"

Salene sighed and shrugged, "Hard to find work, can't sell papers. People don't tend to want a gypsy near them. " She ran a hand threw her hair, her earings dangled. "Leaves me little options.."

Murder smiled. "Well...there is always telling fortunes, working at one of the dance halls...performing." She snorted. "Factories if you have a death wish."

Salene held out her hand for Murder's. "Fortunes? Lets see what I can see.." she quirked a brow, before she smirked a bit. She was a palm reader, sure, but it wasn't her favorite thing to do. "I suppose I could go to one of the performance halls.."

Murder smiled and put her hand out for Salene. "...we have two Halls...both are good." She was curious to see what the girl would say about her lines.

Her eyes flickered slightly as she read the girls hand, "You'll have four children in your lifetime.." she said softly. Running her finger along the lines. "And you will only marry once, because a love that strong lasts. He's your soul mate, you've met many times in many lives.."

Murder couldn't keep the grin off her face. But man..four kids? That was quite a few...
"Really?" She liked the idea of being with Wolf always..that even if they died, they'd find eachother again. "Wasn't that a great reading...anything negative there?"

Salene looked at her eyes, "Just the same tragedies that befall all people in life. And you're father seems to be a dirtbag.." she shrugged and gave Murder a smile. "Everyone has negative Murder, but not many people ask for it.."

Murder grumbled. "Got that right..." about her father. "Well...I like to know what's coming at me. I don't mind specifics..."

Salene let her hand go and pattered her arm, "The thing with fortune telling that most people don't say, is that it's only one version of a million possibilities.." She gave the girl a soft smile. "You see, every action you take, every foot step, slightly alters your destiny.." She shrugged. "It's not preordained, it's one rather grand adventure actually.."
