Hawkeye smirked, "Aye, you got that right." As he yelled out his headline again, she arched an eyebrow and shouted hers once more. In her mind, they had now engaged in a game--who could sell their papers the fastest. Not that she planned on telling Mush this, as far as she was concerned, he was the once who started it.

Mush looked over at her and smiled a little. As she shouted his headline, then hers once more. Well... she was starting a contest huh? He'd do that. He yelled his own headline, just a little bit louder, to see if it would make her angry, or at least take notice. He was having fun!

Hawkeye smirked, amused at how quickly he had caught on. She raised her voice so she was just a tad louder than him. This certainly grabbed the attention of more people, causing a crowd to gather.

He matched her volume, if not just a little louder as he yelled his own headline, adding in other facts from the article. He was looking on the bright side though, she was going to get all her papers sold.

Hawkeye arched an eyebrow at him, "Don't you make me bellow, mister." Her tone didn't sound joking, but the smirk of her face gave away that she was only kidding.
[Apologies, I'm a little out of it and my brain isn't functioning in a way that allows me to make a decent size post. x__x]

He laughed a little bit. "Bellow away my dear lady," he said as he sold a couple more papers. He was having fun, and he thought she was too, and that was all he currently cared about.

Hawkeye was about to shout out her (not exactly true) headline, but it came out as, "Hahahahahahaha," instead. She liked how Mush never seemed to take anything to seriously, it made him more fun to be around.
She shook her head, still grinning, "I surrender. You win."

He laughed as he handed off the last of his papers to a lady. "Aw, now that's no fun," he said as he dashed over to her. "Dun give up... keep fightin'... I'll help, we'll use ya headline and everything," he said with a smile. "C'mon!"

Hawkeye shrugged, "If you insist," she grinned before shouting, "BREAK IN AT... SOME PLACE I CAN'T REMEMBER THE NAME OF!" Obviously, this didn't attract many customers.
She rolled her eyes, "Oh good, I really like it when I forget my headlines. Excellent." She sighed, "Any ideas for a new one?" she smirked and arched an eyebrow, "My next one has to do with an out-of-control, murderous lunatic pretending to be a policeman. How'd ya like that?"

"What?" he said. "Where is that in the paper?" he said as he looked through the papers. He didn't see anything about a 'out-of-control, murderous, lunatic pretending to be a policeman.'

Hawkeye tilted her head to the side, smirking, "It's not, but I can guarantee it'll draw in a crowd." She was about to shout out her "headline," when she stopped and turned to Mush, "Unless you've got a better idea?" She arched an eyebrow, muttering, "Jeeze, I sure hope you do."

Mush opened his mouth to answer and just chuckled a little with a smile. "Actually I don't have a better idea, but how about findin' a real headline and usin' that?! It's a lot more fun not to have people chasin' after ya," he said with a slight smirk.

Hawkeye grinned and arched an eyebrow, "More fun that way, aye? Buddy, you gotta live a little sometimes," she smirked, opening the newspaper and scanning through the articles, "Besides, have to stay in shape somehow, right?" She stopped a dull looking report, reading out loud, "William Porter Sr. has finally retired and left the family business in the hands of his son, William Porter Jr."
She looked up at Mush and raised her eyebrows, "Oh yes, this is wonderful. I can practically feel the customers rushing over," obviously, she had taken on a rather sarcastic tone for that.

Mush looked at her dryly. "Well ya gotta find an exciting artitcle! One that don't need no improvin'! That one is.... no," he said shaking his head. He started to look through a paper himself. "Here we go... Poliece chase ends with man getting away. See,that's a good one!"

Hawkeye shook her head, smirking, "You never give up, do you?" She held up a paper and shouted out the headline Mush had found. She raised her eyebrows at him, "Well, at least it's more interesting than William Porter Sr., huh?"
