You may not be old enough to drink, but you can always drown your sorrows away with a good ol' sarsaparilla. Old Joe doesn't often give out whiskey to the youngsters.

Alley walked into the pub. She jumped up onto a bar stool her feet dangling cause she couldn't touch the floor. "Sarsaparilla please. Mr. Joe." He handed her her drink and she smiled back at him. She looked at it and began to sip it slowly. She was feeling a little better from when Ramble had taken her home after she passed out at the amusement park in Coney Island. She sighed feeling a little pain that she pushed to the back of her mind. She had refused to go to the doctor and she still refused it.

[New day]
Footloose siddled in the door and ducked under the crowds of people. She hardly came to the bar anymore and she really didn't plan on going back, until now. She was going to see if she could get information. She hardly knew anything about the 'war' that was supposedly going on so maybe, just maybe, she could evsedrop and get something out of someone.

Alley walked in looking a little bewildered but nothing more. She spotted footloose and walked up to her. She walked up and jumped onto the bar stool. "Heya Footloose."

Footloose almost had a heart attack. Her tiny hand flew up to her throat and she stared, startled, at Alley. "Good Lord," she gasped, slowly taking a seat on the stool next to her friend. "You'se almost gave me a heart attack!"

Firecracker, despite her better instincts, had decided to go to the Pub. But it had became her favorite place to get a drink since she had spent a good part of a night there with Alley Cat. She wasn't an alcoholic--far from it, she hated drinking--but she had grown fond of the sarsaparilla they offered here. Giggling, the Manhattan newsgirl spun around on her bar stool to face Old Joe.
"One sarsaparilla, Joe!" she ordered with a grin, hearing the old man chuckle.
"Couldn't stay away, Firecracker?" he asked, filling up a mug. "Just when I though I'se got rid of ya..."
"You'se always know how to make me filled love, Joe," she said sarcastically, rolling her eyes and taking her drink. "I'se yer best costumer and ya know it."
"Just don't stay around too long, will ya? Even in daylight, Brooklyn ain't da safest place for da likes of 'Hattan." he stated worriedly.
"Don't worry, I'se 'ill be outta here by sunset, I'se swear." she promised, taking a swig of sarsaparilla.
At the cries of "Alley! Alley!," she turned around, graining slightly as she saw her friend, Alley Cat. She was about to draw attention to herself, but then noticed the two besides her. While Alley Cat hadn't minded her being in Brooklyn, she wasn't sure about those two. So she watched silently, sipping her drink.

Footloose turned herself around and stayed quiet. She didn't know him but apparently Alley did and she'd be concerned for anybody. She reached up and fixed her hat, hardly making any noise at all.

Alley looked over and spotted Firecracker. "Heya Firecracker it's alright. He's form the Bronx and She from manhattan." Knowing that was why she was staying away. turning back to Jackle she let him catch his breath.

Firecracker nodded, smiling and approaching the trio. While she'd fight any Brooklynite who said she couldn't be here, she'd rather not start a fight. And avoiding anyone who would provoke her was a good idea. Seeing as the other girl, who looked her age at fifteen, maybe a bit younger, was also from Manhattan, she relaxed. And the Bronx was neutral, so there wasn't much for her to worry about there.
"Heya, name's Firecracker, nice ta meet 'cha as long as ya don't beat me up," she stated good naturedly with a grin, holding out a hand for them to shake, the other still gripping her mug. However, her mood changed immediately at the mention of Snyder, David, and Ace. She almost dropped her mug. "What?!"

Footloose glanced over at Firecracker. She was a bit nervous now that more people were getting to see her face. That made her nervous; but just a little bit. She fidgeted where she sat and sucked in a deep breath.

Firecracker's moment of panic was interupted by Alley Cat's own. She glanced over at the Brooklynite, concern momentarily overriding panic. The Manhattan newsgirl just wanted to run back to Manhattan and yell her head off at Jack, but that was out of the possibilites at the moment. Her friend came first.
"What's da mattah, Alley?" she asked.
