Brightly colored fabrics cover the room giving it a mystical glow. A table covered in a red cloth is in the middle of the room. Around the room are pictures of various creatures, and the elements facing the appropriate directions as well as a few cards.

Isabela walked in the front door of her tent with a smile as she looked around. The whole thing was perfect. She and her brothers had been up working most of the night on it, and it turned out just the way she wanted. She walked behind her table and picked up a deck of cards that were red on the face down side. She divided them in two and began shuffling them expertly, as she awaited anyone who would be her first customer. She smiled slightly in anticipation.

Sneaks had heard about gypsys being in town--and it had sparked his interest. After finishing up some Raconteur business, he made his way over to their tents, shuffling his cards as he went.
Walking into the biggest one, he cleared his throat, watching the girl shuffling cards at a table, his own hands changing direction and speed to mimick her own shuffling.
"...Ah. Fate is my love, Luck my Queen...care to show me what my girl has in store for me?" He smirked, slipping into the chair in front of the pretty girl.

Isabela looked the boy up and down once. "Hello..." she said with a spanish accent in her voice. "First things first," she said slipping the cards into one stack. "First off..." she said looking over him again, "you're quite handy with a deck of cards," she said admiring his shuffling skills. She then got back to business. "What is your purpose in coming here?"

Sneaks smirked, continuing to shuffle with one hand as he brushed chestnut hair out of his face, his hazel eyes sparkling with amusement.
"..Thank you. You are quite...talented yourself." He stopped his shuffling, putting his cards down at his side.
"...Curiosity. Always curious about those who dabble in the cards and fate. Live my life by it." He smirked. "...I play card games to find the answers...the sacred geometry of chance."
He picked up his cards, showing her one of each suit. "...weapons of war..swords of soldiers...money...love...all are contained here." He smirked. "...I gamble. You tell fortunes."
He smirked. "...I suppose I wish to see how the other lives..."

She was impressed. She'd never seen anyone who knew the cards that well, but no one in the city knew them as well as she did, or so she thought.
"Curiousity," she nodded slowly. "I suppose you'd like me to tell you your past, present and future then?" she said. That was a more simple design of fortune telling, and easier to do at this point, with what he wanted to know. She usually just decided her prices on the type of fortune. "Four bits and I'll see what I can do for you."

Sneaks smiled. "Deal." He put the money out on the table, tucking the cards in his pocket. "Mine are away, so yours have room to breathe...so do tell me what you can...present, future, past...surprise me."
He smirked a bit and lit a cigarette, watching her intently. She was a pretty one, and happy that she appreaciated cards as much as he did.

She looked at him slyly before she took her red deck of cards out once more and picked one card out of the mix. A Jack of clubs now lay in the middle of the table, face up.
She shuffled the cards three more times through her hands and then laid out eleven cards three per row and two on her right side between the first and second and second and third row. The other nine cards were placed three above the Jack, two on either side of the Jack, one on top of the Jack, and three below the Jack.
She should explain something now. "The Jack, that's you," she said indicating the card in the middle, which was now covered with another card. The three cards closest to you are the past. The cards in the middle are the present, and the ones closest to me are the future. As for these to cards here," she said pointing to the cards that were not in the rows, but to the side, "these are the transition from past to present, and present to future. Understand?" she asked. She wanted to make sure he was following before she began. Though, she would continue to explain things along the way.

Sneaks nodded, seeing the pattern appear. "...Yes. Much like...black jack...solitare..." He smirked. "....and I always am the Jack." His eyes seemed to look past the cards, trying to anticipate what she was going to say...but decided that it was her place to say, not his.
"...Go on." He took his eyes off the cards, watching her face instead, reading it as a poker player would.

She started with the past and started with the card on her left. "This was against you in the past," she said as she flipped over a two of diamonds: "Loyalty." Aparently in his past endevors loyalty has been something that had gotten him in trouble, or in a bad situation. She smiled slyly. She wouln'd explain it to him, he could probably figure that part out for himself.
Next was the past middle card, "This was affecting you in the past," be it good or bad depended on the card. She flipped it over as well showing a three of diamonds, "Honesty." So he was an honest man, and it effected him in some way. Interesting. She moved on.
Next was the past right row. She put her hand on the card. "This assisted you in the past." She turned it over and was shocked to see a black joker card. "Death" That made her worry just a bit. She wondered how death had helped this man in the past. She pretended it was nothing and continued foward.
The car off to the far right, not in any row, "The transition between the past and the present." Seven of spades, "Humiliation." This boy was interesting to read for. He had quite the history.
Row two now. Starting at the far left row. "This card opposes you at the present time." She turned the card over showing the three of spades. "Health." That either meant Sneaks himself wasn't doing well, or someone close to him wasn't healthy, be it body or mind.
Row two, middle card, the one covering the Jack of clubs. "This one is affecting you at the current time." A flip of the card brought up the Jack of daimonds. "Either it's patience... or someone in particular," she said. "By the look of it a young man."
She then moved on to the third row, in the middle. "This is the one assisting youin the present." She turned over the six of clubs, "Innocence." Aparently he was appearing innocent for something, whether he did anything or not, she didn't know.
Next was the card on the far right closes to her that was not in any row. "The transition between the present and the future." Flipping it over revealed the two of hearts. "Involvement... the lovers card," she said. She couldn't help but smile at him a little at this card, a strange gleam in her eye. She then, however, moved on.
Moving onto the future row the card on her left, Sneaks' right and closest to her. "This will oppose you in the future," she explained as she flipped over the ten of hearts. "Isolation." This concerned her a little. But it was not her to read into the cards, that was to be done by the person she was reading for. He was to be the one to figure out what it meant. She moved on.
"This will affect you in the future," she said as she took the middle card of the future row in her hand and turned it over to show the eight of spades. At this rate, the boy's future wasn't looking good. "Loss..." Loss of what she didn't know.
Only one card remaining. "This will assist you in the future," she said to him her eyes showing care that she hoped the absolute best for him as she turned over the four of spades, as she did so it made her smile. "Feedom."
She sat quietly across from him and sat quietly letting him take this all in. It was a lot of inforamtion. She was curious to see how he'd react.

Sneaks listened and was silent. Through the end of his cigarette, and another.
...it was a lot to take in, but he didn't question it. He knew the cards never lied. He was curious about the lovers card...a smirk played across his lips. None of them worried him--not even the loss. He was happy the cards showed him to be honest--always the thing he prided himself most about--even more than Lady Luck's kindness. He never cheated.
Fate and Lady Luck has always been kind to him...but there was always his chance to fall, for them to play him ill...only to bring him back to good twice fold.
"...I am not a man with too many faces...but the mask I wear is one." He watched his cigarette burn, the embers flickering before dying to ash, before tipping them with his finger, the ash falling off to the floor.
"Well, those who speak know nothin'...And find out to their cost...Like those who curse their luck in too many places....And those who fear are lost" His hazel eyes sparked gold for a moment, and died back down to their darker green.
"...I've seen a bit of that in my study during games..." He pulled his cards a back, shuffling, in, out...over and under...flicking a card to show once...twice...before slipping back into the pack. It was the way his mind worked...
"I thank ya..." He smiled. "..I don't know your name, luv." He put his cigrette out on a card...he turned it over and revealed the two of diamonds. He chuckled, shaking his head. "..and I hope I didn't just smash out my potential by slightin' this important card." He nodded. "...Sneaks. My name is Sneaks."

She laughed slightly. "No. You infact answered my question," she said. Another form of card reading when asking a simple question was to flip over one card and use it as the answer. She wondered what kind of man he was... aparently, he was loyal. She tossed the card back towards him with a small smile. "Isabela," she said pronunciating it for him correctly, she liked her name just so. She reached out and starting with the card in the upper left hand corner pulled the cards twards her putting them back into her deck on the bottom. "Sneaks... that's not a common name," she said. Even being Spanish, she didn't think it was a normal name, even for America.

Sneaks chuckled softly. "Ah...you are cryptic and speak in a way that others may not understand, unless they turn just so and listen correctly." He was in a good mood despite some of the ill tidings--he was back to his weaving of words, much like the cards in his hand.
"...Well, Isabela.." He pronounced it easily, the name flowing off his tonuge. He liked the sound of it. It had its own lilt and intonation. "...It's my nickname. Real name is Nicholi." He smirked. "It's Czech. If you have issues with pronunciation...Nic. Call me Nic." It was Russian as well, but that wasn't where he was from now, was it? He took the burned card back and shuffled slowly, more at ease now.

As Isabela listened to Sneaks she found that he did the same as she, just like he said.
"Nicholi," she said pronouncing it with a unique flare from her Spanish accent, making it sound more like 'nee-koh-lie'. She tried out the other form of his name. "Nic," sounding like 'neek,' of course. She stood up with her deck of cards and turned around placeing them in a box behind her. "It was a pleaseure reading your cards... Nic," she said with a small smile. Isabela, though beautiful, and flirtatious was a hard girl to catch, mostly because she knew that so many were often after her. If 'Neek' wanted to have a chance with her he'd have to keep talking, and make a good impression.

Sneaks stood, chuckling softly. "Nic...Sneaks..whatever is easier on your dear tongue." He flicked a card out. "...Words are easily misread by a ameture or wayward soul, much like the cards." He wasn't implying that she was an amature--he was saying the exact opposite. "Cards, however. There meaning, isn't lost."
The card he placed on the table, pausing a moment before pulling his hand away to reveal it--was the Ace of hearts.
...a powerful card in gambling, and a powerful card in the world of the Tarot. It signified a safety net of support and communcation. "Don't you agree?" He smirked. He didn't chase--it wasn't his style. He felt one looked ill and desperate in the act.
It was like a card came--bluff, hold back, reveal hand at the correct time, place bets accordingly.
"...I leave all a card." Signified their relationship with him at the time of the giving. "Use it wisely."
He had yet to make for the tent flap as of yet, lighting another cigarette, the flash playing over his handsome features for a second befor dying down to the dim of the tent.
