"She'd hurt you more then you'd hurt her kid.." Lucky walked out, for a girl who loved a fight, she knew Smalls was going to be beating the daylights out of someone right quick. She had Boxer in her arms, and he looked ready for a fight as well. "What's the drama, Smalls? Some little upstart need tossed in the river?" When it came to blows, Lucky always backed her friends. And this girl, must have said something stupid because Smalls was seeing red.

Cap'n nearly cursed out loud. Now she had to deal with TWO people and a mutt(i think...lol). She sighed and continued to stand her ground. "Hey hey here, two against one that ain't a fair fight. Back where I'm from that would be ground for expulsion from the group...savvy?" She stared at both the girls, hoping that she wouldn't have to result to violence.

A slow grin spread across Small's face. "Oh don' worry, it'll be jist you an' me." She peered at the girl, her eyes shadowed by her cap. "Unless o' course you want ta get da hell outta heah an' nevah come back." She rose an eyebrow as she began cracking her knuckles one by one.

Cap'n was really starting to lose her patience with these girls. She couldn't see why accidentally calling this squalid place a "hell hole" could get her kicked out of it forever. She took off her cap and brushed the beads to the left side. If she had to fight, she had to fight. "I really dont see what the big deal is girls, but if its a fight you want, you'll get it!"

Cap'n whirled around, her beads clanging lightly against her head. She looked up at the boy and was surprised to find that he was barely a few inches taller than her. She looked him over, assuming that he was the one in charge. "Fighting rights? Excuse me?"

That was it. She wasn't sure what had set her off, the girl's lack of respect or the fact she just looked the Brooklyn leader over; either way she was sick of waiting. In seconds she had her on the ground, connecting her fist with the girls face.

(i love the warm welcome guys ) Cap'n wasn't sure what was worse: the fact that the short boy was the supposed leader of this team of misfits or that fact that she had just gotten punched in the face! Cap'n angrily grabbed the girl by her hair and smashed her face into the nearest stack of crates!

Spot smirked and leaned back, pulling out a cigarette, taking a puff. "...joy. I didn't miss a thang." He watched the fight, now about to jump in just yet.

Smalls easily pulled herself from the girls grasp, she's from Brooklyn after all, and stood a few feet away. Touching her lip lightly she saw the blood on her finger and smirked. "Not bad."
Spitting some blood on the ground she approached the girl, standing still in front of her for a moment before swiftly back handing her across the face. It was an obvious attack on pride, not meant for real damage. "Now. If you're done bein' a smart ass, we can talk. If not, well," she ginned evilly, her hands ready at her sides. "Dis may end up bein' more fun den I thought."

Cap'n wasnt used to being treated this way. As the leader of the Cali girls, she had the authority and the power. Now she was being used as some sort of sick enjoyment to these people.
"I'll talk once your done smacking me!" She spit at the ground near her attacker's feet. "Nobody messes with a Cali girl, especially not the leader!"

Lucky quirked an eyebrow and watched, shaking her head with a snicker she set her cat on the ground so he could do what he wanted. And what he wanted was to attack the new girl's feet with his claws, hissing and going on, Boxer didn't like the fact that this girl had been so disrespetful to his humans.
"What the sam hill is a Cali girl?" Lucky asked, she'd never heard the term. Obviously the girl thought she was something special. "Oh you're a leader.. well ya don't seem to have someone to lead at the moment so that makes you nothing more then a little girl running her mouth.. now doesn't it.."

Spot snorted and put his hand up. "One...ya ain't in California anymore, kiddo. Two" He put up another finger. "...ya ain't a leadah anymore either--yous on foreign soil--so ya better start humblin' up or ya are gonna get soaked and thrown in da rivah." He took another drag on his cigarette. "And 'sides...yous couldn't have been head of all dem california newsies--its a big state. So ya either are exaggeratin' or ya a liah."
He looked at Smalls, Lucky, then back at Cap'n. "Wes don't take kindly ta liahs heah in Brooklyn."

Cap'n knew she couldnt let them toss her into the river, nor did she want to wander around aimlessly for the rest of the night. She lightly touched her face where Smalls had slapped her. She winced, knowing that it would be black and blue the next morning. Cap'n didnt want to admit defeat, she probably could get a fair bit of fighting done before they threw her into that dark river. But she just didnt have the energy left for it. The days events had really shocked her into a sort of submission. Plus she didnt really appreciate the fact that they all thought she was some kind of lying scab. She crossed her arms and looked the boy in the eyes. She wanted to get some things straight so they would know she was the real deal. "Who said I was lying. If you had asked me nicely to hear about my life, I might have told you."

Lucky smirked a bit and yanked Boxer to her. "We don't care about your life story kid." she shook her head. "If we'd have wanted it we would have asked.. but you go runnin' your mouth.." She gave Boxer a serious look before she put he back on the ground. If Cap'n kicked him, she'd be dead before she hit the river.
