The main room has a few sofas and a round table in the center, a few chairs around the table or scattered about the room.

He had run until he couldn't run anymore and had stumbled along, the rain pounding on his already sore body. He was tired, exhausted really. Work was tiring, and the war was worse. He had gotten maybe forty-five minutes of sleep before Fancy had come in and woken him last night, and had gotten no more since then.
"The man who killed my sister and mother... he's coming for me..."
He wiped rainwater from his face, determined to find those he was looking for, even if it was the last thing he ever did. His girl needed help, and he would be damned if he didn't get that help. He needed Ace, he needed Avalanche, and he needed Prince.
"He's got a knife... he's got allie's..."
Well, so did he. He pushed himself, coughing so hard his body bent over. He knew he shouldn't be out in the rain, and he was worrying himself sick, but he couldn't stop. Ace was not in the Bronx, and Avalanche was not in his apartment.
Which meant they were somewhere else. And Queens was a good bet. He ran through the streets, bolting toward the lodging house. Every second he wasted was another second his Fancy was in danger. He couldn't allow that. Never could he allow that.
"I dont care who this man is, but he isn't getting anywhere near you. Not while im still here."
He meant those words. He meant them, and he would keep them. He stumbled up the stairs and fell on the door, clutching his chest with one hand. It felt like his heart was busting out of his chest and as he took a deep breath, something akin to a fire hot flash of lighting speared him head to foot and he gasped.
He clutched the handle and threw the door open. Without his prop, he fell to his hands and knees in the doorway, and then onto his side, his vision blacking out.
"...Fancy..."

Prince heard the door open. They'd all been upstairs, talking about the war, and exactly what had happened, what was happening, and where they were gonna go with it. Prince was walking down the stairs to see who it was. "Hello?!" she called. No answer. "Hello?!" she called again. No answer.
She reached a place on the stairs where she could see the door. She gasped at what she saw. "RED!" she rean down the stairs. "HEY! GUYS! HELP!" she called up the stairs. She had rushed to Red's side and was on her knees beside him. Oh, this was bad... he was out cold... and wasn't moving. "ACE! AVALANCHE!" she called again.

Ace had been sitting talking to Avalanche, when Prince's cry reached his ears. He was up and moving toward the door, literally sliding down the stairs. When he saw Prince, he gasped, running to her side and sliding along the floor.
Turning Red all the way on his back, he cursed at the blood that had dribbled down the redhead's chin, his lips crimson. He felt his forehead and felt his blood run cold.
"He's burning up..." He whispered.

Avalanche followed Ace down the stairs and ran to the opposite side of Red's body. He put a hand to his mouth. "He's barely breathing..." he added quietly. This was bad, and he knew it. If Red died... where the heck was Fancy?! "Prince, get something to clean him up with. Ace... help me move him to the couch," he said motioning to a near by sofa where Red could lay.

Ace nodded and he gently picked Red up, keeping his head straight so he could breath, or as much as he was able to. They laid him down on the couch, Ace's heart thumping in his chest. "What...He's soaked." He stripped the other's shirt off as quickly as he could, the material leaking water.

Prince returned with a wet cloth in her hand. "It's rainin' hard, that's why," she said grabbing a chair and pulling it up beside him as she started to take the blood away from his mouth, and around his face. She shook her head. "Something was wrong. Why would Red be coming here in the rain, running?" He must have been running, or he wouldn't be unconscious right now.

"I have no idea, but his fever is really high." He shook his head, voice shaking a little. "This happened before...." He bit his lip, the blood draining from his face, making him look nearly as pale as the ex-Brooklyn leader. "When he...nearly died...in Boston."

Avalanche looked from Red to Ace. Well... that was bad. "This has happened before? Well... what did you do the first time?" Avalanche said. If he nearly died once, but didn't then there must be a way to keep him from dying now... right? Well, that is he hoped so.

Ace shook his head, "We couldn't do anything...he broke it on his own..." Will power had saved Red once, when the doctors had said it was hopeless. "The doc...He said...if it happened again.." He shook his head, eyes hard. "No. Im not going to let him die." He jumped up, "Lanche, stay with him. Prince, you need to go tell Spot, he will want to know. Im going to go get Fancy."

Prince handed the cloth to Avalanche. "We'll be back soon," she promised him, as the two leaders left the Queens lodging house and set out into the rain to find Spot and Fancy. Prince just hoped and prayed that Spot was at the Brooklyn lodging house.

Ace gave Prince a nod as he turned and ran off toward the Bronx, knowing Fancy was either there or Red's apartment. He just hoped she hadn't taken off sometime. Red needed her right now, more then anything or anyone.

Avalanche stayed with Red like he said he would. He kept track of him, and his temperature, which seemed to be getting higher by the second... it was that or his blood was getting colder. He would cough every so often too. Avalanche didn't know what to do with this guy. The last time he had a coughing fit it had been water he wanted... that was the last thing he needed now. He was at a loss of what to do.

Spot flung open the door and gasped for breath. He regained his composure and frantically looked for Red.

"Here," Avalanche said seeeing Spot come flying in the door. "Have a seat," he said standing and going to get another chair for when Fancy got there. He'd taken the blood off of Red's mouth, but that didn't mean he wasn't going to stop coughing, he just looked a bit better, which was... good? He hoped anyway.
