Sweets walked up to the steps with her hands in her pockets, kicking a small rock as she went. Hearing voices she glanced up, brightening a bit at seeing the others on the steps. It was about time she met some more Queens kids. Approaching somewhat cautiously she gave them an awkward grin. "Hiya."

"Well I think I'll go," she said leaning against the railing. She looked over at Flanna trying to figured out what Dusty meant, but didn't ask any questions. "You should go," she said looking at Flanna.

Flanna smiled a bit. "Thanks..." She turned to the new girl. "Hey...you are?" It wasn't unfriendly, just asking curiously.

Dusty was glad to hear that Flanna was doing better. She looked to Dazzle at Flanna's question, a small smile on her face.

Flanna raised an eyebrow. "Oi..I'm not on the ground, Sweets."
She smiled quickly, showing she was just trying to put the girl at ease. "I'm Flanna. I'm a Queens newsie, but I actually live in Brooklyn." She spit in her hand and put it out. "What brought ya here?" Hopefully Sweets was just nervous. She couldn't stand most Queens girls. It would be nice for there to be a girl with a backbone there.

She grinned, spitting in her own hand and shaking the girls. "Ah, jist lookin' for a change of scenery, ya know?" Taking a seat on one of the steps she glanced at the piece of paper. Feeling a slight knot in the pit of her stomach she casually raised an eyebrow. "That's uh, that aint more from those thieves is it?" She remembered all too well what got her into this mess.

Flanna smiled. "Apparently ARia is opening up her costume department for us or something..." She shrugged. "She's thought o' everything I guess."
She pulled out a cigarette, lighting it. "Want one?"

She smiled at her. "Shore, thanks." Pulling out her own match she lit it and puffed it contentedly.

<<new day>>
Flanna bolted up the steps quickly, stopping when she finally hit the stoop, breathing a bit hard. She was sure--had he seen her?
She slid down the ide of the building, sitting near the door. She's be okay now...she was fine.
Pulling out a cigarette, she lit it and took a long drag, trying to calm down.

Slight wandered up the steps to sit at the top. She was new, but she would make friends quickly, she was sure. When she saw the other girl, she stopped.

*new day* Buck had spent a good hour and a half wandering Queens before funally getting to where he wanted to go. That time not including how long it took a person to walk from the Brooklyn docks to Queens. walked to the door and, holding the girl with one hand and reaching out with the other, gave a few good knocks. He felt bad for Innocence, and wanted to get her home. He took the girl resting on his back, and slowly, and carefully brought her to his front. He held her in his arms, one holding up her head, and the other at her knees. He quietly waited for someone to answer, hoping he had gotten to the right place.

Jennifer had been lounging around, and she blinked upon hearing the door. Getting up, she ran a hand through her hair and pulled it open. "The door's always open, no need to knock." She said with a smile. When she saw who it was, however, her eyes widened a bit and she took a half step out of the door. "Is she okay?"
