"Sure it meant somethin' to me. The person who gave it to me..." he furrowed his eyebrows. "Just how long were you here?"

"A bit." She replied, curling the necklace in the palm of her hand and leaning back a bit, so that she could watch him under the rim of her cap. "Who's Manny?"

"An old friend," he answered, plainly. He was a but irritated with the girls nosiness, but hid it well.

Jennifer made a small 'o' with her mouth, nodding. "Well, all logical conclusions lead me to assume you should be keeping this, rather then throwing it in the fountain for some pickpocket ta find." She raised an eyebrow and tossed the necklace in her hand a bit. "But ya know, i aint ya ma, and i certainly aint anyone that should tell ya what to do with your life. So..." She laid the necklace on the fountain, slipping from her seat. Tipping her hat with one hand, she smiled. "Have a nice day."

Without a second thought, Coop picked up the necklace and tossed it back in the fountain. He shook his head. What is wrong with people in this borough

(New Day)
Alley walked towards the foutain fumming just a bit about Spot and him kicking her out of Brooklyn. She wasn't even sure if Footloose had followed her here. She'd decided to go to Queens one cause Dusty was there. She sat down on the edge of the foutain her hand hanging over making the water ripple as she thought. She'd actually threatened the leader of Brooklyn.

"ALLEY!" Dusty gasped as she came sprintin across the road. "ALLEY OH MY GOD!" she wrapped her friend in a hug, kissing her cheeks lightly. She had just heard from the others that Alley had been kicked out. She had never run faster or looked more frantically in her life.

Alley hugged Dusty back. "Hiya Dusty. Sorry i haven't been aroundlately." She put her head down in a kind of shame because of all the people that should have known where she was at all times was Dusty and of course Ramble Jackle and fancy. She'd already taken care of telling Footloose. She looked paler then normal and stress was still a bad thing but she felt better with Dusty there.

Dusty held her best friend tightly and pulled her to sit on the side of the fountain. "Tell me everything... please..." she whispered. She had been worried sick over the other girls where abouts and now that she had found her, Alley had some 'splainin' to do.

Alley nodded her head and took a deep breath. "I've been at a makeshift clinic really. Cause i can't afford to go to the hospital. I came close to dying and well i miscarried." She shook a bit. "I'm still not entirely better." There was the first thing.

Dustys eyes widdened. "I-I'm sorry... Alley, i'm sorry!" she said again and again, hugging her friend tighter. "Alley, i had no idea... i shouldn' have asked!" she felt like a complete and total idiot for even bringing it up. But then again, how was she supposed to know.

"ITs alright Dusty. I needed to tell ya. Now how i got my ass kicked out." THere was an evil glow in her eyes. "I got fed up with Spot. but let me start at the beginning." She took a deep breath then started talking. "I went to the docks to clear my mind and saw Footloose well she was the first person i saw and she looked sad so i asked her and yea i ended up telling her." She didnt' want to tell Dusty why Footloose was sad that was her business to tell. "Anyways i ended up crying. I never expected Spot but i should have guessed he'd show up. Which he did and he asked why i was crying so i told him. Well from there i said a few things and he said if i stepped over the line again he'd kick me out. Well i was seriously thinking of not stepping over the line, until this girl came up she's a Queens newsie i think. Well she disrespected him not knowing he was Spot well he took her by the shirt and pushed her into a crate. A few more people showed up and I got fed up with the way he was acting to I kinda stepped over the line. So he kicked me out." She took another breath her eyes flickering. "He called me a disgrace and embarrasment to Brooklyn. No one and i mean no one says that to me. I threatened him but i know it probably didn't phase him. and i know he'll have his boys out looking for me. But it's not going to keep me from Brooklyn. I think he forgets he's dealing with a true Brooklyn girl. We don't take shit form noone. and that includes the infamous leader himself. On top of that he told that whole group that i had miscarried." She looked back to the foutain playing with the water again. The flicker of hatred didn't leave her eyes.

Footloose sat down slowly next to the fountain, folding her hands in her lap. She still sort of felt like a little lost puppy but she didn't want Alley to think she didn't want to be around her.

Alley turned to look at Footloose and her caring came back. "I'm sorry Footloose i didn't mean to scare ya it's just. I get so fed up with him and his ego sometimes. Not everyone knows who he is and he thinks everyone should just by looking at him." She sighed there was still a flicker of disgust for Spot in them. "He'll pay for what he called me though.

Dusty looked at Alley a moment, then down at Footloose. "I'm sorry..." she said moving away from Alley a little. She didn't want to be banned from Brooklyn, her man lived there. She sighed a little. "Its not really nice is it?" she asked a little nervously.
