Sally smirked and called out to the man. "Oi...seems like you might need some help!"
She didn't offer her services as of yet.
Too bad her brothers weren't there.

Right on the spot she'd hit with the fountain. Yeah. Down Slinks went, landing in a half heap on her bum, and with a nice, grinding crunch from her ribs.
Leone need help? ...Keep thinkin' that lady. She thought, grimancing and glaring between the general direction of the yell and the struggle between Prince and Leone.

(Blaize posts are in here too. Its easier for me)
Leone didn't even bother to answer the question, and instead just drew his hand back to Prince. He knew she was about to go down, just like Slinks had, and when that was done, he was going to hit them a few more times and then he was going to walk away.
His fist had nearly drawn back all the way, but he never got to bring it down. Someone grabbed his wrist, pulled him back, and he felt a fist slam into his already injured nose. With a sharp cry, he fell back off of Prince, glaring up at the teen through his teared up eyes.
A guy. Just what he needed.
Blaize stood between Prince and Slinks and Leone. See what minding his own business got him?

Prince looked up seeing Blaize. Thank goodness. She smiled a little. She couldn't stand up just yet she was still dizzy. "Thank you Blaize!" she said with a bright smile and a chipper voice. Slowly she started to get to her feet. She got in a little over her head, but it made her feel a little better that it was going to take three people to take him down, one of whom would be a guy. The dizzy spell ceased and she stood beside Blaize. "Good timing," she added.

"You're very welcome, Prince." Blaize smiled back at her, but it didn't quite reach his eyes. He didn't know what was going on, but he knew he wasn't going to walk on by and let it happen either. "And now, you." His gaze turned back to Leone, and his voice dropped half an octave.
Who knew the sweet British boy could sound so....evil?
Leone smirked and laughed. "Oh, so the twig thinks he can take me?" He felt his pocket to see if he had what he needed, and then nodded. "all right then."

Prince's face was cold as well as she gazed at him. She wasn't in top form anymore, but she was a bit better. She was willing to fight again either way. She spotted her hat down by her foot. Ah, perfect. She picked it up off the ground and tucked her hair up inside of it with a sly smile, no one was the wiser. "Ya like water ya heartless jerk?" she asked using his phrase from earlier. She had every intention of doing to him what he did to her.

Leone's gaze hardened and his tone was chiliing. "You can try." He hissed. He had no intention of letting things go quite that far. At least, the moment things started to turn around on him - if they ever did - he was gone.
Blaize reached out and gently tugged Prince behind him. "You look like hell, leader. Go help Slinks. I have this." He flashed her a grin. What's the worst he could do? Break an arm, leg? It'll heal.

Prince looked at him with a glare. The second anything went wrong she was coming back to help him. But he had a point... Slinks dieing would be an extremely bad thing. And… she did look like hell, he was right. “Alright, jus be careful,” she said sternly. “Da last thing ya need is a dead man on ya record,” she added as she dashed over towards Slinks. Though… to be honest, Prince wouldn’t be too upset if Blaize did kill Leone.
Prince knelt down beside her friend. “Heya… goily, you alright?”

"'Eah... 'm fine.." Slinks replied through gritted teeth. Having discovered that not moving was best, she was sitting as still as a board. Though that didn't make breathing easy as pie, or non-painful, as proven by the short gasps and grey and green-around-the-gills face.

"Yeah..." Prince said in a sarcastic voice, "ya look like it too." She sighed a little. "Ya dun look so good at all, we need ta getcha some help," she as she tried to think of the best way to get this girl on her feet and to a hospital, or to the lodging house quick as possible. Wherever they'd be safe. She glanced over her shoulder at Blaize and Leone, hoping they were coping alright.

At that precise moment in time, Leone's face was bloodied, and he was not looking all that happy. Blaize, although he didn't look it, was fast when it counted, and he could put his body behind his swings...which made it worse for the one on the other end.
Growling in anger, Leone snapped his knife open and just brought his hand across, missing Blaize by about a half centimeter, the British boy staggering for a moment before he had his balance. "Get Slinks out of here." He spared a glance back at them, his eyes serious.
He didn't trust Leone to leave them alone.

Prince stared over at him. She was extremly conflicted. She had someone hurt here, but if she left Blaize could get hurt too, he could die. Being a leader and a friend at the same time, it was hard. She looked at Slinks and then looked back to Blaize. "Alright!" she called back to him. She stood up and put Slink's arm over her shoulder. "Come on hon," she said. She'd get Slinks to safety, but she had every intention of coming back to help Blaize. Especially since she saw Sally watching the scene. If she got involved Blaize wouldn't be able to do it alone. The last thing they needed was to get one of Queens best killed. Especially now.

((New Day)) Giselle walked with Pie Eater to the fountain by the Journal building. She was kind of excited to see how this all worked... she'd seen newsies around a bit, but never paid too much attention to him. "Well?" She asked, looking at him with a smile.

Pie inspected his new surroundings. He had never actually set foot onto the Journal property so for him this was a tad new as well. His head snapped back to Giselle when she posed her question. He smiled back. "First things first, gotta get some papes.." He looked toward the distribution office across the way - mayhem like they often were. "You wait 'ere - it looks pretty nuts in there right now..." He held up his index finger to signal that it would only take a minute then darted off.
On the Journal grounds he elbowed his way toward the front of the line. Other newsies were so enthralled in there own conversations and arguments no one seemed to notice him cut the line. A few minutes later he shoved his way out with a stack of papers hoisted onto his shoulder.
Pie met up with Giselle at the fountain and let out a deep breath before handing her a paper. "Time ta scan for somethin' worth sellin'.." He took a seat on the small barrier surrounding the fountain and proceeded to start reading the stories.

Giselle took a seat next to him and began to read through the paper. She didnt see anything especially thrilling. "What do you do if there isnt anything interesting in the paper?" She asked. "It doesnt seem like you could sell many papers with news like this..." She added, motioning to her paper. It seemed like there was more to being a newsie then she really knew, more underneath the surface that anyone who wasn't a newsie knew, really.
