The waitor walked over and took their order. Bandit payed him and soon enough their hotdogs were at the table. "so how long have you been a newsie?" he asked Perch as he ate his hotdog.

Perch pulled out enoughmoney for one hot dog and held it to him. She didn't want to make him pay. "a while now" she said and took a bite out of the hot dog while still holding the money out to him. "coupla years" she said after she had swallowed.

He shook his head "No way I'm paying" he said bitting into the hot dog " hows it been, it seems pretty cool bunches of kids living together working together, its like one huge family"

Perch smiled. "if you insist" she said and put the money back in her pocket. "it's been noice i guess, having a sort of family again" she sighed. "but it can still get lonely now an again, dey're kinda hard ta talk to usually" She took another bite. "plus you end up lookin out foah yer own self most of da time. But yeah.. it is somewhat like a family. I know it is to me" She said with a bright smile on her face.

"Ise don' know like where I come from dey had dances and festivities" he smiled thinking of it "I was usually gettin' chased by da bulls durin' it , but when Ise got a break it was amazing"

"really?" Perch asked. "dances and festivites? dat soulds like fun" Nina grinned as she thought of it. She took another bite of the hot dog and looked at him. "so, get chased by da bulls often then?" HJer face held a small hint of amusement .

He had seen the signes around, how they new he was here was a mystery.

He smiled "robbed a bank well dats not all, when I was leavin with da money the security guard had been shot" he said ask if he got asked this question all the time " But I didn't do it , dats not what de bulls thought"

Perch nodded "oh, so dey thought you shot da guy?" she took a bite from the hot dog and swallowed. "i belive you" she said quickly in case he had any doubt that she didn't think that he had killed the guy.

"thanks" he said sighing "youse de only one, my whole town thought Ise did it, den when people started tryin' ta turn me in, old friend can you believe dat? Dats when I ran" Bandit took the last bite of his hot dog and then wiped his mouth with his napkin.
