She shrugged. "I'm good at a lot of things. I use to pickpocket a while back, but anything you need me to do I can." Smokes felt a small rush pass through her veins being around people like this again. However, she did feel bad for lying to Peem...I guess not bad enough, though.

Nicholas looked her up and down. "Anything...?" He shook his head a bit and smiled brightly. "Oh nownow...I'm sure you are quite good at pickpocketing...but may I ask why you wish to do this?" He tapped his free hand on the desk, the sound making a soft 'taptap' on the wood.

"Basically to get back in. I let something go a couple days ago and I want certain people to know where I still stand." She sighed, leaning back a bit.

Nicholas smirked. "And who are these 'certain' people? What did you let go?" He was softer now, studing her more intently. This girl seemed to be playing a dangerous game, and if anyone was going to end up a fool, Nicholas wanted to make sure it wasn't him.

Smokes folded her arms. She knew it was better to let everything out now before it caught back up with her. If that happened it could make things very bad for her.
"I let go some guy who killed my brother. My gang...my old gang and family...if I saw him I had to kill him on the spot and I didn't. It was a mistake."
She hoped she hadn't said too much and hoped even more it was the end of the conversation. It was hard for her to admit that she had betrayed her family.

Nicholas smirked. Well, he had something on the girl now. Always useful to have more information than others. Bartering was a joy--especially in information.
"Ach...we all make mistakes now, don't we?" He smiled, his dark eyes glittering. "But we can make up for them. Aye, we can." He put out his hand. "Try to use me, I'll kill you. But I'm willing to help."
Help whom, however, was left up to debate.

Smokes didn't doubt for a second that he would, but it was fine with her. She had no intention of using him in any way. She nodded and smirked a little. She looked down at his hand and shook it.

Nicholas nodded. "Well then." He pushed a book towards her. "Sign this, and you're in. Free reign of this place of course...except the basement." He smiled softly. "Prove yourself and you'll move up. Or down. Depending, of course." His ease with her was all calculated.

Smokes sighned her name in the book. "Got anything for me to do?" She didn't wanna rush into things, but she like to keep busy.

Banshee walked in, a slight squint in her eye as she looked around. She had listened to the conversation of these two before she did anything. It was her way, to take in as much as possible before doing anything. She stood behind Smokes, a little off to the left, so she could see, both, Smokes and Nicholas. Banshee wanted to turn her head to hide her left eye, her pale gray eye, but decided against it. They would find out sooner or later, so why hide it? Anyways, it was hard to hide, since it contrasted with her right eye, which was a dark and dull green. She wasn't going to start of this meeting trying her hide her blind eye, it would just end up bringing more attention to it that she wanted. Banshee wasn't going to speak until he asked her something. Even then, if it were a yes or no question, she would just nod or shake her head.

Nicholas shook his head. "At the moment, no Smokes. You are free to do what you wish, as long as you believe that it will help us."
Turning his attention to Banshee he nodded. "Oi...mute. Why are you here?"

Banshee looked to Smokes as she left her with Nicholas. She looked back to him, "I need someone ta tell me what ta do, an' a place ta stay." She said, her expression held the same, solemn yet stern look. She wasn't going to say anything else, but decided that it may be best to introduce herself. "Da name's Banshee... not Mute."

Nicholas smirked and said softly. "...your name is what I want it to be, Banshee--don't forget that." He put the book in front of her. "Sign it. You'll live here. And do as I say."
He loved the submissive ones.

Banshee had been standing back a little, not wanting to stand close enough to him to really show herself. She decided that if he was asking her to sign it, she was in, no matter what. She walked forwards, to the book, and signed; a signature that was, at least, readable. She stepped back and looked at him, her grey eye stared out straight, but her green eye looked at him. The glare was almost unnerving, an almost death stare; yet nothing by the way she stood showed any sign of a threat. With a nod she turned to leave, to head back to her apartment. She took her time though, which would seem as if she were allowing him time to call to her, but it was more because she never felt any reason to rush anywhere.
