Mush led Lanna out onto the dance floor and put his hands in the appropriate places. The boy knew how to dance. Nothing beyond a twirl and a dip and the steps could he do, but he did know how to dance. In his opinion, he had the best dance partner in the room too.

Alanna really hadn't thought to ask if Mush knew how to dance. She wasn't really thinking when she had asked him, but now she didnt' care. She was having to much fun.

"No need to apologize," he said with a soft smile to her. "It's no problem really. And thank you for the dance in advance," he said smiling to her. "One question though... you're gonna hafta tell me what some of those words you're always saying mean. The french... can't carry on a converstaion if I dunno what you're sayin'," he said with a small smile to her.

Brigmal was reluctantly led to the dance floor, by the, ever so beautiful, Flanna. He stood awkwardly, not really knowing where to start. "I think you should lead." He said to her.

Lanna blushed violently and smiled a bit. "Mon ami, it means my friend. Sorry, I grew up speaking french, english is secondary to me.." She smiled brightly at him. "I'm glad, I wanted to dance with you, though from what I hear you have no problem getting girls.. why didn't you have a date tonight?"

Flanna smiled. "It's not that hard really...I promise..." She took his hand and then put his other on her waist. "Just follow me." She started waltzing slowly so that he could follow her easy enough.

Brigmal smiled, and waltzed along with her. It was easy to follow, since she was going slowly. He wasn't sure how to dance, but he could follow what another person was doing. He brought her a little closer to him, but figured that may be a bad idea (considering that other guy was around) so he stoped and continued following her as she danced.

He shrugged a little to Lanna. "No one I really wanted to come with I guess," he said with a slight smile. "Well... the only one I did want to come with was meetin' someone here, so I figured I'd meet her here too, and see how it goes from there... mon ami," he said with a smile to her. He was going to have to learn what the other words meant to. It would be fun to speak french with her, if she'd let him.

Lanan couldn't help but blush a bit more, she chuckled a bit, "Oh really? So this girl you were hoping to run into, did you find her?" she gave him a brilliant smile, happy that she was able to dance with him, and her little crush was turning into a bit crush.

Brigmal smiled, "Well, it's easy to follow you." He said. He smiled and bent down a little. Gently he picked her up, and gave a quick spin before setting her down and continuing dancing. He was a strong guy, so he was able to do it with ease. "How about now?" He asked, giving her a quick wink.

"Yeah, acctually," he said with a smile to her. "The other guy showed up too, but he was pretty cool about lettin' me dance with her," he said with a shrug and a smile. "And if I might say, she's a fairly good dancer. And speaks beautifully."

She blushed again, and narrowed her eyes, trying to remember english. She couldn't really talk to him if she suddenly forgot how to speak english again. She did that when she was flustered or scared. She gave him a smile, grasping, "You want to know something.. I wanted to see a boy tonight. I was coming with a friend but, I really wanted to dance.. with someone else.."

Flanna gasped a bit, her eyes getting wide before she laughed. "You would be great at a jig, Brigmal...sometime I should teach it to you." She smirked. "But becareful..I might get scared your cartin' me away.."
