"Um, ok..." Two-Bit said, sitting down on Blink's bunk. She didn't know exactly what to say. She wasn't even sure if she had overheard him right; maybe he was talking about Mush or something...

He looked over at her, frowning, "So, how much did you...overhear?" Oh yeah, like that was going to keep her from asking or getting suspicious.

"Nothing, really." Two-Bit lied, shrugging her shoulders. "I just heard voices and walked in. That's all."
She was pretty sure that Blink could tell she was lying, but she tried to act normal. It would be kind of weird to say Yeah, I thought I heard you say you were in love with me, was that it?

He murmurred something under his breath and looked away, his gaze focused on something that apparently caught his interest on the other side of the room.

Two-Bit sat in silence for a while, glancing at Blink out of the corner of her eye. She wished he would say something but at the same time dreaded it. After a minute she got up.
"So..." She said slowly. "I, uh, should probably get going..."

Two-Bit looked confused as she tried to understand what Blink was talking about.
"Course not," She told him. "Your always the one to jump into a fight or something, aren't you?"

He looked like he was fighting a battle within himself right now- and as he turned around, his eyes flashed once with that determination so often seen by him. "Two-Bit, im in love with you."

Two-Bit's expression didn't change, other than her mouth dropping open an inch. She hadn't quite gotten what Blink had just said and certainly hadn't been ready for it.
"Huh?" She said lamely.

"You sure?" Two-Bit asked. She probably should've told him how she felt, but she wasn't exactly thinking straight. It was like her mouth had become completely disconected from her brain.

He nodded, his heart sinking. He knew it, she didn't feel the same at all, or else she would have said it. Taking a step toward the door, he murmurred, "Well, that's..it, i guess."

"Wait, no." She said suddenly, walking toward him. "No, that's not it. Blink, I... you know... I love you too."

"Yeah, really." Two-Bit said, wrapping on arm around Blink's shoulders and looking up into his face. She smiled, trying to get him to do the same.
"It's just.. you're great, and... wow." She said again.
