<New Day>
Isabela was on a side trip through Manhattan. She was scoping out a place to possibly set up a new dancing area, or maybe a table that she could come and tell fortunes at every so often. Currently, she was scoping out the Harbor to see if she could find anything that looked remotely like a good idea. So far, she had a couple of places in mind, but nothing really too special. She wanted something that would be perfect... and had yet to find it. She sighed slightly and continued walking. A deck of cards was in her pocket... plus one, just for good luck.

Sneaks was sitting with his back resting against a tree near the harbor, a few boys around him. They were involved in a game of poker, and as usual, Sneaks seemed to be winning. They weren't playing for money, however, but various favours and information. That is how Sneaks got his information by gambling his own away, in return for bigger and better stories.
He did it casually, when he wasn't hurting for money. He smiled, the sun bouncing off his golden brown hair. It was a good day.
"I win again boys....Straight flush."
Out of the corner of his eye he thought he saw Isabella, but payed attention to the game.

Isabela, in turn, noticed him as well. She curiously glanced in their direction before she looked away again. He seemed busy, and she wasn't here to speak with him anyway. Maybe she'd hang back, if just for a second, but after too long she'd continue on her way. Poker... she knew how to play poker, not the best at it, but she knew how. She listened in on the game as she walked slowly.

Sneaks caught her eye and gestured over with his head. She was free to join them for a bit if she so wished. One of the boys said something about a hand and he laughed, telling them to move over a bit for Isabela. It would be interesting to watch her play.
"...Come on Isabela. Play with cards my way..."

Isabela gazed at him for a moment. She smiled to him a little as she walked towards the group of boys. "Well... if you think you can handle it," she said with a slight shrug. She smiled at the boys as she sat down beside them. "Poker I imagine," she said with a flirting smile on her lips.

Sneaks, if he took the flirting bait, he didn't show it. He was never one for letting things like that phase him.
The other boys were clearly effected, however, and he rolled his eyes at them as he delt Isabela in. "Pay them no mind. Haven't seen a girl who wasn't 'sellin' something in while."
He smirked and looked at his cards before saying over to here. "Seven card stud."

She laughed a little and nodded blushing just a bit. "Thank you," she said as he dealt her the cards. She picked up her hand. Not bad, not much to work with, but not bad. But she didn't show it. She kept the flirtatious smile instead as a matter of fact as the game progressed, and didn't intend on losing it, if at all possible.

Sneaks was all business. His poker face was unreadable, as he weighed his options. He joyed playing stud much more than draw--gave people less of a chance to best him in luck. He also smirked inwardly--he positioned Isabella so she had to lay before he did. All the others layed their cards after bets, clearly weak. He was curious what Isabela was holding.

(I'm not sure if I know this kind of poker, but I think I do. If I'm wrong will you correct me please? Then I'll edit my posts. Thank you!)
Isabela stared at her hand, that lovely smile still on her face. She nodded, "I'll stay in," she said. She thought why not take the risk? What had she to lose?

Lucky had been searching New York for a good game of cards. And she saw one going on. Isabella? She blinked a bit and headed toward the girl. Her fingers were itched to get in on the game but she kept quiet and watched the eyes of the boys around the table. Interesting, she stuffed her hands into her pockets and hung back. She'd get in on the next go round if they'd let her. She'd forgotten her hat.

Sneaks smirked. "Good....I'll stay in as well." He saw some other girl who looked a bit forlorn at the game "...Yo...if you want in, come over. Round' will soon be over."
Sneaks layed down his cards. "...Full House. Beat that, kiddos."

She blinked a moment at the guy who spoke to her and watched him threw her lashes a minute before nodding and walking over to the table, her lips quirked ever so slightly at his hand. He'd been playing cards a long time, this game coming around would be fun.

Isabela turned her cards over. She couldn't beat a full house, but she had a three of a kind! Better than nothin' after all. Looks like the cards were on his side... seemed they often were. She waved a little to Lucky. "Hello!" she said to her friend. "Please come sit!" She had met Lucky while dancing on a corner in the Bronx not that long ago. They were fast friends.
"This is my friend Miranda. Miranda, this is... Nic," she said giggling slightly.

Sneaks smirked. "...Good hand though, Isabela...would have beat me if Luck didn't love me as much as she does...." He gleaned some information from the others, nodding to Lucky.
"..Call me Sneaks." He had forgotten to tell Isabela that few were given his real name, and fewer were allowed to use it--Isabela was allowed, of course, but he'd rather not be called it in public. Something about is reputation, or something of that strain. His true name was private to him, something he held dear.
"Play cards much, Miranda?"
