Coop looked over to the window and saw Murder. He smirked. "Tryin' to get away?"

Murder shook her head. At least not since she happened upon him. Coop was much more interesting and entertaining than whatever was out there at the moment.
Getting on Nick's side was fun on occasion...but despite herself she was drawn to Coop. For the mental chess or something else, she knew not.
She raised an eyebrow, questioning his previous glum look.

"Nothin really." He knew that she would e able to tell that he was lying, but he didn't care. That's as much as she was going to get out of him on the subject.

Murder rolled her eyes and sighing, made a motion across her throat. More than likely, someone was trying to kill him.
Though that was always the first guess since his head was wanted by various sundry people.
She stood up from the sill and moved closer to him, ruffling his hair lightly. At least...well at least things weren't boring.

Murder laughed softly and sat down next to him, shoving him sideways a bit playfully. Most of the kids here and been so serious. She had gotten a bit more freedom after helping Nick redecorate, so things were lighter for her.
She shrugged. Maybe she was happy. Or just happy to have her sparring partner back.

Coop nodded. "That's good." He frowned a liitle, in thought. "What've you been doin?"

Murder smirked and more or less explained that she and Nick redecorated Bronx headquarters, been helping out here and there. Just basically become Nick's favorite little thing. ...well favorite thing that he hadn't abused at all.
She looked to him and basically aksed the same question.

Coop shrugged. "Nothin since I brought you here. Seems like you've been busy."

Murder smirked and shrugged her eyebrows. This is what she used to do. She knew how to work these people for her own benefit. She tapped her finger on his nose playfully, smiling softly.
The man always had a bit of gloom about him.

Coop sat up from the bed, a disturbingly grim smile on his face. He gestured to her clothing. "So what's with this? Is this how you get things to work for you?"

Murder shrugged. Yes and no. This allowed her to look more 'harmless' and more in the traditional female role, but she liked to think it was her cunning and ability to charm and manipulate people that really got things to work for her.
The outfit was just a part of it--not somthing she was proud of or necessarily liked, but a necessary evil. When working with the people like the Raconteurs--she knew it was the only way.
She smirked and pulled out a card, writing on it quickly Wolf in sheep's clothing, no?

((new day))
Having just gotten back from the meeting, and his 'recruiting' he was supposedly doing, Ace shrugged out his heavy outer shirt, laying it on the back of a chair as he stretched his muscles, sighing. He sat down in a chair, rolling a pen between his fingers before he started writing down names under a paper titled: Possible Recruits.

Nick didn't knock at all this time and simply walked into the room. He saw Ace sitting in a chair and glared at him for a moment. "Is your name Ace?" he asked a twinge of anger in his voice.

Ace looked up at him in confusion for a moment, having been broken from his thinking. Placing the paper down on the desk top, he put the pen on top of it "Yes?"
