Yes. "Not really." She said. Gamble bit her lip and sighed. "Maybe." She changed her mind and set her feet on the ground.

He ran a hand through his hair and looked at her with his eyebrow slightly raised. Whenever she was ready. "I promise to listen, and help if i can."

Gamble took a deep breathe before speaking. "Pretty much just lost all trust my borough had in me." She planned on saying more but she couldn't really open up to people, let alone a stranger.

He snorted, "Be thankful you had their trust to begin with. It aint easy being new and being British." Specially here.

"Why would it matter if I had their trust before if I don't got it now?" She asked, arching an eyebrow at him.

"Because you had it once before, and you can get it back." He pointed out, "Once you trust someone, it is hard to learn to dis-trust them, at least all the way."

Gamble snorted. "That ain't all that true for some people." She stated. "Specially if you'se from Brooklyn. It's hard enough to just earn their trust." SHe shook her head slightly and stared straight forward.

He shrugged, "But you had it once, you cant deny that." He had to clue how it was for a Brooklynite. He just knew how hard it was for him.

"Yeah, but who care's if I had it once? the point is I don't have it now." She sighed and shrugged. "How am I supposed to help out with the war if they can't trust me?"
((Jebus, sorry it took so long to reply... I dunno what happened.. >.<))

((New day))
Prince was looking for somewhere where she could sit, and stare off into space without having to worry about anything. Churches were good for that. She didn't feel like sitting out in the open at the fountain just then. She didn't want to think about the fact that she was in Queens... she just wanted to sit in the back row of the church... and if someone happened to drop by... she wouldn't mind to be honest. She wasn't sure if she wanted to be alone, or if she was lonely.

"Mornin' Prince..." Dusty said quietly, sitting beside her friend. "Doing okay?" she asked kindly, looking at her softly. She gave her a small smile and sighed, taking in the beautiful church...

"Yeah," she said with a slow nod. "Doin' jus fine," she said with a smile to the girl. Maybe she did want to be alone after all... or maybe not. She didn't know. She sighed with a smile however and looked up at the elaborate ceiling.
