SlingShot followed the excited Fancy into the park and headed toward the pond. "So do ya see 'im?" She asked excitedly, eager to meet some new friends.

Fancy sighed "Nooooo......." she looked around around and finally spotted the tall black haired leader sitting lazily by the ponds edge "Actually yes..." she motioned for SlingShot to follow her and made her way over to Ace.

Hearing someone approaching, Ace turned those sharp blue eyes on them, and grinned, "Well if it isn't Fancy. How ya doin dahlin?"

SlingShot hid shyly behind Fancy, waiting for introductions to be made. She was intimidated at meeting one of the newsie leaders, and was anxious for Fancy to introduce her. She figited with her hair, hoping that the boy....Ace.... would like her.

Fancy smiled at him "Heya Acey!" she gave him a quick hug. "I'm just introducin' SlingShot here to some of my friends... and she wanted to meet a leader so... I decided she should meet the best first!" she smiled at him. Reaching behind her she pulled SlingShot forwards gently "Ace, this is SlingShot! SlingShot, this is Ace, leader of the Bronx Newsies!"

Dazzle was tired of not knowing anyone but she didn’t know what to do to fix her problem. She decided to wander around a bit. She had been walking but she didn’t know where to cause she didn’t know her way around. She looked up from the ground and noticed that she had ended up in a park.
She looked around trying to figure where she had ended up but couldn’t see any clue and didn’t recognize anyone, which was odd since she usually saw at least one other newsies that she had seen hanging around Prince. Dazzle continued to search, finally finding a sign that said this place was the Pelham Bay Park in the Bronx.
Dazzle decided she was tired and sat down on a bench near the pound.

SlingShot felt Fancy nudge her and stepped up a bit. "Yeah...I hav'nt met 'im yet. I'm kinda new to da newsie thing... neva sold a pape in my life..." She stopped and blushed, still feeling shy and not sure of herself...

SlingShot looked up at her and smiled back. She looked back at Ace, searching around for something to talk about. "Sooo... how did you get to be a leader??" He looked to Fancy to affirm she said something right.

Fancy smiled "So... Shall i leave you two?" she gave SlingShot an encouraging look, taking a cigarette out of her pocket and lighting her match. "Cause i should really go find Prince..." she stuck the cigarette in her mouth and thought for a moment. "My god... I am gunna be so late..."
