She gave his hands a squeeze and turned away from him, she'd said far more than she'd intended to. Saying nothing more she headed down the path with her head held high as if she wasn't breaking apart a little inside. Time was a luxury, she couldn't stop herself from loving him anymore then she could stop the tide.

*NEW DAY* Antoinette had woken this morning in rather poor mood and had decided to walk it off. So taking her shawl she'd stepped out and quickly dismissed the carriage boy when he asked her if she needed him to take her somewhere. Heading off she wound up at Central Park and found herself at the fountain that rested towards the middle of it. It had become one of her favorite places to visit lately even with the weather dropping as it had. Today was actually a nice day compared to what she'd been through these past few weeks. She wasn't used to this weather and it made her pine for home. However there wasn't a chance she'd go back there, not with that woman taking over her fathers household. She'd convinced him to stop sending Antoinette her monthly stipends. He'd told her it was time she learned to manage her own money. She'd tried to convince him that she would and that he didn't have to stop sending her money but that witch had him wrapped her around her little finger. Antoinette sighed idly and sat on the edge of the fountain her fingers trailing over the water.
