"Moravia" answered Milo, happily "It's dis little place wheah a lotta czech people lives an' it's technically a part a' Germany but only 'cause dey gotta follow dere laws 'cause dey got taken ovah by da German leadahs a really long time ago."

[chatter]

"Oh" said Chatter nodding. "So its part of Europe"? asked Chatter cheerfully.

[Milo]

"yeah" he confirmed, nodding "so why'd you an' ya sistahs come heah? money?" he guessed looking at her inquisitively.

[chatter]

"Well our parent couldn't aford for us to live in Poland anymore....so yeah money" answered Chatter. Chatter got uncomfortable by the silence so she looked around waiting for Milo to say something. "So..why did you'se come here?" asked Chatter.

[Milo]

"We came foah money too, my parents were young an' dey t'ought dat dey could really make somethin' a' demselves an' evr'ybody said dat america was da place ta do it" Milo explained "Dey said dat da streets was paved wit' gold an anybody could make it rich" he gave a short, mirthless laugh "I guess dey musta been colahblind huh?"

"We came foah money too, my parents were young an' dey t'ought dat dey could really make somethin' a' demselves an' evr'ybody said dat america was da place ta do it Dey said dat da streets was paved wit' gold an anybody could make it rich I guess dey musta been colahblind huh?"

"Yeah dey musta been colah blind, cause i don't see any gold on da streets," said Chatter looking at the ground.

[Milo]

"Yeah" agreed Milo smiling at Chatter, "Nothin' but rocks an' dirt" He said, kicking at the ground jokingly before pausing for a moment a pensive and somewhat confused look creeping onto his face, "But, y'know what? Even though dere were nevah any gold streets an' en though dey nevah struck it rich I don' t'ink dat my parents were evah sorry dat dey came heah" said Milo looking somewhat puzzled at his own conclusion " 'cause dey always had da hope dat I would or dat my kids would or somthin'. Dey always thought dat what dey did would turn out foah da bettah sometime.y'know?"

"Yeah,Nothin' but rocks an' dirt,But, y'know what? Chatter gave Milo a confused look, "Ummm..." was all she could say to hhis question. "Well my parents neva came to New York." said Chatter kicking at the ground.

[Milo]

"Why not?" asked Milo looking over at her questioningly "not enough money?" he guessed, that was the story most of the time, especially with large families, the parents couldn't afford to keep the family where they were but they also couldn't afford the fare to send everyone over. So, they just sent a few and hoped to have the money to come over with the rest later.

[chatter]

"Why not? not enough money?"

"I think so" answered Chatter. Chatter's family only had enough money to send the girls to New York and leave the parents at home in Poland.

[Milo]

"Are dey plannin' ta come ovah when day got enough money?" asked Milo, hoping for Chatter's sake that they were, she really seemed to miss them.

[chatter]

" I don't know the last time i saw them i was really little and i don't even renember what dey look like." answered Chatter, chatter whiped a tear that was coming down her cheek.

[Milo]

"I'm shoah dey'd remembah you." said Milo in an attempt to comfort her "I'm shoah dey still love you."

[chatter]

"I'm shoah dey'd remembah you. I'm shoah dey still love you."

Chatter nodded her head, Chatter hugged Milo, is was nice for her to have a friend that was her age that wasn't related to her.

[Milo]

Surprised by the sudden contact, Milo stiffened up for a moment, his eyes wide before giving Chatter a small, one armed hug in return.
