Pirate too? Last he'd heard about Pirate the lad had struck gold out west literally-- robbing banks and trains. He shook his head and watched her for a moment, "Marauder and Corsair, Heather. No telling if Buccaneer is alive or not. It's got me a might more testy but I can at least rest easy with Moira bein' cared for elsewhere--"
Wrinkling his nose, the British leader shook his head and flipped his hat off his head to fiddle with it. He didn't like Heather being talked about as owned, made him think the girls running around with no families had it better than she did. "Retires or dies, Heather... retires or dies.." Didn't mean he liked it.

"...Where did Moira go?" Heather had been too wrapped up in her own affairs to know what was going on with Sam and his pretty girl. "And great. You know how much I hate it when people know me and I don't know them, Sam--it makes me nervous."
"Well I wanted to go and kill him myself, but Lucas told me to wait. Now its just getting messed up again. I'm getting tired of the waiting."

He watched her quietly, "She wasn't getting any better so Aria set up a place for her to stay in a hospital in the country--" He watched her and sighed. "How is the lone wolf? You two are always in a rocky way but you find your way back eventually.."

Heahter nodded. "Well I hope she gets better, Sam. I know you love her a lot." She smiled slightly, before taking a sip of her beer. "I haven't seen Lucas in months. We've been avoiding eachother or somethin' like that." She shrugged. "I'm not quite sure we'll find eachother. We'll see...two way street, n all.."

Dodger snorted a little and managed a wide grin at her on her final comment. "Two way street love and you want him to make all the moves-- he's not the kind, you keep poking at the large wolf and he's just going to skulk off to some dark corner and sulk it off." He held up his hand before she could rail into him. "Same goes for him, he can't expect you to make all the steps to keep it together, but you can't make him make all the decisions, love. Two way street is right, you have to meet the man in the middle sometimes. If he didn't care for you-- well he'd have been long, long gone, Heather. We both know it.."

Heather snorted, nearly growling. She was tired of this. "I don't expect him to. But incase you haven't noticed, Sam, I can't find his sorry ass. I don't if he doesn't want to be found, or I'm just not looking hard enough; but I'm tired of his inability to stick with his pack. He ain't acting like a wolf, he's acting like some coyote."
She shook her head firmly again. "I ain't gonna put up with abandonment."

Dodger had to grin a little, "Coyote huh..." he sat up and watched her curiously before his voice took a serious tone. "He'll show up, and when he does don't take it out of his hide-- he works at least, more than some of us do and-- well I'm not going to get involved Heather-- more than I am."

Heather shook her head. "Well when he shows up, I might not be around." She made up her mind, right then and there. "I've had it. I'm going back to my father."

Dodger blinked at her, "Wha?" That-- was out of left field in his mind. Going back to her father was-- "Heather that's a death sentence and completely bollocks... you know that right?"

Heather raised an eyebrow. "Death sentence? My brother is dead, Sam. I'm the sole heir--the only reason he wanted me was to make sure I'd stay his heir." She ran a hand through her hair. "I'm tired of people thinking they know better than me; you, Lucas. Both of you are the ones full of bollocks. I've simply had it."

"What?" He snorted and then laughed out right. "Bloody hell, Heather I keep out of your business for the most part. If it's so much made of roses they why were you running to start with eh? I don't know any bloody better than you do I'm just trying to keep things afloat in my Lodging Houses and looking out for my friends-- a whole hell of a lot of bollocks is going on around here Heather and I'm only doing what I can--" He gave her a look and shook his head. "Do what you really think is best for you Heather-- if going home is best then go.."

"Well it seems to me you all keep bringin' this shite down on your own heads--I know why I ran, my dad won't try that with me now. And I don't need none of your crazy-ass people trying to cause me more problems."
She smirked. "Bet you didn't even tell Moira. Scared of what she might do, weren't you?"

He glared at her, "Oh aye, telling my ill girlfriend, ' And by the way love, my old mates that I used to steal for are back in town-- it'll take a lot to deal with but don't worry about me and get better'." He shook his head, "She would leave me or have wanted to stay and I need her like I need air, Heather-- don't throw that at me now.." He felt like he was getting hit on all sides on this one.

"So instead you lie by omission? That isn't the way you treat those you love--you needed to give her the chance to make her own decision about your lifestyle, instead of making it for her--by doing what you're doing, you're treating her like a child." She scoffed. "If you need her, respect her; don't think she's a bloomin' idiot."

"The life I had-- isn't one I want again, Heather and I'd rather it not touch her by MY choice. I don't want my dark past to harm her until I'm ready to look back on it without it being such a part of me. Let me deal with this in my own way Heather... I have to be an adult and once I tell Marauder and Corsair to do what they will without me-- then I can tell Moira everything. I just don't want her to worry about me while she's trying to get better.." He didn't need this right now he shook his head and got up.
"Your one of my best mates, Heather. But don't take out your frustration with Luke out on me, alright? I knew this gig was a full time thing when I took it on and I'm trying to ignore what I personally need to take care of the kids in the lodging houses.."
