Biography: Her family is from Scotland and imigrated to America before she was born. She has a older brother named Markus who took her under her wing since the death of their parents when Piper was only 8 years old. She still speaks in a mixed accent of New York and Scottish, though her brother has a full Scottish Accent.
They grew up in a lower towns of Manhattan when Markus picked up a job at the Docks, leaving Piper to either be a Newsie or go to school. But Piper couldn't afford schooling so she went to be a Newsie.
