Newsie Name: often just Lily, sometimes Book Worm or Ditty
Age: 15
Birthday: April 29th, 1884
History: Lily was born and raised right here in NYC. Her folks, Jacob and Kate McCarthy, died when she was 6, and she's been living life on the streets, and only became a newsie recently.
Personality: Lily tries to be friendly and polite to everyone and looks out for the little guy. She's a bit of a braniac, and knows a little about a lot. She's a bit naive and gullible, but watch out! She's someone you want on your side in a fight and in life. Some of her favorite things to do are to read and sing... she's rather good at both.
Looks: Has medium-longish dark brown hair, which she keeps tied back in a braid (which is easier to tuck into your hat for those times when being a guy is more beneficial). Her eyes are a lovely hazel color, and she's very small for her age. Lily despises most girls' clothing, and is fair more comfortable in a regular shirt, pants with suspenders and newsboy hat.
Bad Habits: She's often daydreaming and is very gullible. She can be a little bit nutty sometimes and will be very, very angry if you touch her books without permission.
