Hello,
My names Spunk. If you call me by anything other than that name...well you don't wanna know what will happen to ya. I was born and raised in brooklyn by my pa. That was until he got sick. I was eleven at the time.
I started to be a brooklyn newsie when I was twelve. I could never afford to go to school and my pa wasn't well enough to provide for us...so I had to do all I could.
A year ago my pa passed away. After he did I moved to the Lodging house and have lived there ever since. Trying to not be put where ever newsie doesn't want to be put. I have no one but my fellow newsies and there like family to me now.
I have long brown hair and big blue eyes. I usually wear boys pants and a blouse. I do own one skirt though. And I wear different hats all the time. One's I usually 'find'. I'm seventeen but I look like I'm younger, since I have a small body type. I'm only about five feet tall, but if you say anything about it, I'll soak ya.
I don't know what the future will hold for me...but I can't wait to find out.
