Boroughs

As your admin I figured it was about time we had one of these here. We know you don't get to pick your borough here on 1899 but you can have an idea of the kind of people that go where. Just thought it would be helpful so you know what we look for, for each borough. Just remember-- we do like to shake things up and we look for quality in our apps.

MANHATTAN - Manhattan is the gryffindor of the boroughs. Why? It really just is. Most of the people in hattan are good, hard working people with their own quirks but aren't afraid to throw down when it counts. They are brave, loyal to a fault and though there are a lot of different personality types in Manhattan they are stubborn as all get out. Generally they are good people, eccentric and a bit out there. But are always the borough and their friends first

THE BRONX - Okay maybe they are like Puff but the Bronk kids are your more down to earth people. They are willing to fight, scrappers and they have two lodging houses. One for girls and one for guys. The reason behind this is pretty simple, at one point there were to many of them. They are the kind of people you want at your back, family orientated, and just damn scary if you piss them off. You don't want to make the Bronx kids mad.

QUEENS - Queens is your Ravenclaw though for a long time Queens has mainly been where girls are put no one really expects the kids in queens to fight as most of them aren't that way. They are a hodge podge of people, from a gypsy to a virtual mute they are always the kind of people that are a bit different and over the top. Normally they just don't fit in anywhere and they always have an open door.

BROOKLYN - The most exclusive borough in New York, they don't just take anyone. those that talk tough and fancy themselves Brooks, generally end up tossed out into Queens by the very hard nosed crew. They don't just take anyone, they don't like just anyone and you can think you are tough shit but mess with anyone of them or try to assert your dominance and they will make sure you take a long walk off the docks. Yes they are your Slytherin. And you don't want to mess with them. At all.


Now just because you write your bio to the specs, doesn't mean you get placed there. Sometimes we need to balance out the boroughs or we think it would be funny to just put you somewhere for drama purposes.
