So Spot finally gets one of these. Spot Conlon the leader of Brooklyn and that is undeniable. He's got the reputation as being one of the most feared and respected newsies in all of New York (he prefers to think the world) and he's fine with that. Born and raised in Brooklyn he is what the borough represents. Loyal to his own, arrogant, confidant and demanding, the Brooklyn kids fall in line and are more than loyal to the undisputed King. Even when they get older and start shipping out and doing their own things they always, always come back.
He's been in jail and got out on technicalities, thinks Brooklyn should still be it's own city and deep down he intends to rule all of Brooklyn. Legally or not. He's starting to branch out in the political area, he's got an army of Brooklynites loyal to him and the last thing that anyone in charge would want would be to push the King of Brooklyn. But with the leadership changes going on in the boroughs Spot isn't a happy camper.
