NEW DAY ~ RESERVED [/b] Killian walked into Caprice Hall and inquired at the bar as to where he could find Sarah. The bartender must have recognized him because he didn't put up any fuss when telling Killian where she was. He ducked through the side door that led behind the stage so that he could find the costume room. It had been one hell of a week and he was looking forward to the gorgeous stage performers company. Normally once he bedded a woman he steered clear so that they wouldn't become overly attached but Sarah wasn't like that and hadn't been since they'd met so he had no problem visiting her when he could. He felt like things could go to hell in a hand basket pretty quickly with one wrong move by the points, but then again he always knew he was headed for the burning pits so he might as well go out with a bang. Killian ran a hand over his head as he knocked against the door jamb with his knuckles before leaning against it and crossing his arms. His eyes flickered through the room searching for Sarah, a smirk gracing his usually stoic face.

Sarah was buried halfway into the rack of green dresses, sliding the extravagant pieces of material aside as she discarded each item as not what she was looking for. Somehow one of her favorite costumes had gotten misplaced and mixed up with some of the chorus girl outfits and she'd been trying like hell to find the damn thing for the better part of an hour. After ransacking her apartment and the dressing rooms, she'd started in on the costume room which was categorically a mess and something she intended to have cleaned up in short order. But her frustration was preventing logical thought at the moment as she thumbed through a few more of the costumes before blowing out a puff of air and watching as dark strands of hair lifted, danced on the unexpected blast and then settled again. Somehow standing in the costume room, dressed in her red stage dress wasn't exactly how Sarah had intended to spend the better part of her evening.
A sharp rapping by the door captured her attention and Sarah shifted a little, poking her head around the rack expecting to find one of the other dancers or staff member looking for her. Instead she was greeted by the hulking, masculine frame of Killian O'Donnell, something of a regular in Caprice since he'd shown up a few months ago, though Sarah knew neither of them counted it as such. They had good chemistry and the truth of it was they had a good time together, and most days that was all that Sarah needed - tonight it was definitely what Sarah needed. Dropping the costume that was in her hand so it settled back against the others on the rack, a slow feline smile crawled across her face as she moved towards the door, her eyes finding his. "You sure you're allowed back here, sugar?" She asked, coming to a stop beside the clothes rack closest to the door, still a few feet away from him as she let her eyes give him the once over.

Killian's smirk widened just a bit and uncrossed his arms before sticking his hands in his pockets. "You gonna kick me out?" He doubted anyone else would. Most people took one look at him and refused to even come within five yards let alone try to tell him to do something he didn't want to do. He was sure the owner would have the same brass pair Sarah did when it came to that, but he was also sure that Sarah was the only one he wouldn't smack around for doing it. Killian didn't make a habit of hitting women but he also didn't shy away from it if he thought the situation called for it. Finn had had to restrain him more then once because of that nasty little habit.
"I don't think many people will try to tell me not to do something I want to do even if it is breaking a few rules." He grinned then and stepped forward to pull her against him and press a light kiss to her lips. "Doesn't seem all that busy out front right now? Are you working tonight?" He figured if she was it would pick up since she was a major attraction. Of course, he was hoping that she wasn't.

"I thought about it," Sarah said, smile widening even more as she watched him lounging in the doorway as if he owned the whole damn building. He was an imposing force and there was no doubt that people had a tendency to scatter when he was wandering about - and likely how he had ended up backstage without issue - but Sarah merely found that side to him appealing, the darkness an added attraction. She knew danger and power lurked beneath mysteriously hooded eyes and a masculine body that could very easily take as much as it gave, but she supposed it was that sort of careful balance that drew her to him in the first place. There was no pretense between them and no silly games that Sarah felt obliged to play, just simple chemistry and an understanding of what they both desired.
"But there would be no joy in that for me," She said with a laugh as he reached over and pulled her close, pressing a kiss against her mouth and inquired after her evening plans. "And you only broke the rules because you thought you mind find me back here," Sarah added, letting her fingers crawl up his arm before pulling back to look him in the eye. "Still early yet for there to be to much of a crowd, I'm on tonight but later, couple hours." She'd worked the schedule that evening to give herself some breathing room and as it happened, a chance to find that damn green dress - but those thoughts were sidelined now as she smiled up at Killian. "Why? You lookin' for a private showing?"

"Did you now?" He quirked an eyebrow at her reply and grinned. Few ever thought to reply sarcastically to him if they weren't in his immediate group of friends but he did enjoy sarcasm every now and then. Of course, sometimes even that could set him off which is why his friends didn't joke around with him often. He didn't get the nickname 'Butcher' for no reason and they respected that enough to know better then to test him. Sarah was a fresh breath of air though because unlike the others he was usually in a very good mood when he was around her so she could get away with a lot more then most. Plus, she was a great way to relieve the stress that he'd been under lately.
Killian inclined his head at her statement and smirked, "True. Guess I get away with it then?" He ran his hands over her lower back and hips as she told him that she'd be working later but not for a couple of hours. That was a relief because as much as he enjoyed watching her on stage he'd had other things in mind when he'd decided to come here. "A private showing is exactly what I'm looking for..." He grinned and brushed a piece of hair off of her shoulder before running his fingers over her neck.

Sarcasm was as much a part of Sarah's being as her naturally flirtatious manner, and while she usually tempered it when she was on the floor with a smile and wink, in private moments with those she was comfortable things were different. And, she supposed, most would find it odd that she felt comfortable with Killian at all - she wasn't blind to reputation and she had some idea of his. Their encounters alone would be indication enough, with barely bridled passion that simmered beneath the surface when they'd found opportunities to spend time together, but she wasn't rankled by his reputation anymore than she was by his rough exterior. Sarah had long ago perfected the art of walking the fine line when it came to those that edged around the law - or downright ignored it as the case may be - and she relished in the feel of his hands on her back and the knowledge that he had come looking for her.
"Almost making the private showings a habit, Killian," Sarah purred as he pushed her hair aside and she tilted her head to give him more room to work along her neck. "You ain't careful I might think you like me," She teased gently, her words holding just a bit of an edge because she knew never to fully relax with him, but she figured he liked her well enough if he kept returning as he did.

Killian chuckled darkly and threaded his fingers through her hair before lightly pulling her head to the side and ducking down to kiss her neck lightly. He loved the feeling of her hair between his fingers, it was so thick and supple. "You know me better, lass. I like coming her because we have a mutual understanding. No feelings...no attachments, just a good old fashioned fun time."
Most women would take offense to his words but he doubted that Sarah would. They understood each other and although he could tell she was more careful with each visit she still seemed to enjoy his company as much as he enjoyed hers which is why he kept coming back. Women like Sarah didn't come along very often and he wasn't going to toss her aside very easily, at least not while she was so accommodating. If and when she'd decided she'd had enough of him, he would leave her be and find another dame to capture his attention. Until then he was going to thoroughly enjoy the time he had with her. "Did you miss me?" He uttered the words lightly as he continued to press lingering kisses to her neck.

"Girl like me knows better than to say no to a good time," Sarah said, letting her eyes flutter shut for a moment as he kissed along her neck, her hand rising to settle on his shoulder. She should really be moving them along to her room, especially if this was going to end as all their other encounters had - and there was no reason to think that it wouldn't. But she allowed it to linger for the moment, enjoying his touch and finding a small thrill in knowing he returned not just for the reasons he listed, but because what was between them was damn good.
"I think I missed you," Sarah began, making a noise of approval in the back of her throat as he continued with his kisses and she shifted her hand up to cup the back of his head, fingers sliding against the prickly hairs she found there. "...as much as you missed me." He hadn't been around much as of late, Sarah assumed it was because he was off doing whatever it was that gave him his nefarious reputation and hard edged look - but she wasn't one to ask. She'd learned a long time ago that was a good way to get yourself in trouble with a dangerous man, they valued those who knew not to ask question and lived in the moment. Sarah fulfilled both of the requirements easily. But just because she was practical and smart when it came to saving her own skin, didn't mean she hadn't missed the piercing blue of his eyes or the sweep of his large masculine hands on her skin - she was only human.

"Glad to hear that," He whispered against her neck as he peppered it with kisses. Usually he wouldn't show this much affection in a place where he could be caught unless he already had a girls skirt over her head, but he enjoyed foreplay with Sarah. Killian couldn't help but grin at her words and chuckle under his breath. "Who wouldn't miss seeing your gorgeous face?"
He pulled back and moved away to lean against the doorjamb again. He crossed his arms to keep himself from reaching out and pulling her back to him. He doubted very highly she'd want to tup in a costume room where her boss could walk in any moment and that was where his actions would lead if they continued. "What're you doing in here anyway? Besides making a mess," He said with a grin.

"And there you go with the flattery again," Sarah teased lightly as she let her breath catch for a moment as he mouth played along the skin of her neck. What she perhaps enjoyed most about Killian, besides his obvious prowess in bed and it's benefits to her own interests, was that keen sense of humor that had a surprising way of cropping up in the most unexpected moments. Sarah had a feeling that there weren't a great many people that got a chance to see the flashes of it that she did, the way that laughter - genuine laughter - made his eyes crinkle just a little.
He pulled away and moved back to the door in what she considered to be a prudent move if they had any hope of staying their activities until they were in the privacy of her apartment or dressing room. She didn't suppose Naomi would mind to much one way or the other, but the hassle of explaining the hows and whys to anyone who might pass on by had her reconsidering. Besides there was something about letting the moment linger and build with Killian that was damn enticing, so Sarah let him drift away as she tugged on the material of her costume. "Looking for a costume, one of mine got mixed up with the others and I can't find it," Sarah waved her hand at the room where dresses and material shot out from racks in tufts. "A trifling thing really but I like the damn thing."

He smirked broadly, "Flattery's easy when it comes to a dame who looks like you." Killian couldn't help but flirt with Sarah whenever he was around her. It went a long way to relieving the stress he'd been living with lately. That's why he enjoyed his time away from Rac's so much and he enjoyed it even more when he was in Sarah's presence. She was easy to get along with which is why when he was in a good mood he tended to gravitate towards Caprice Hall to see her. She had a way of making his good moods even better.
"Well we wouldn't want you to lose something you love," He said with a grin. He knew from personal experience that if you loved something you better keep it under lock and key because being surrounded by so many people in the same line of business meant your things had a way of going missing if someone else had an eye on them. He'd lost several of his knives to the deadly female hands that worked with them. He didn't usually mind because he'd eventually get them back and the ones he really liked were locked away in his room. They knew better then to touch those unless they wanted to face his wrath and not many people could face that without wetting themselves.

"Ah...and there you go again," Sarah said, stepping over to pat him lightly on the cheek in a seemingly benign gesture, even as she let the curve of her hip nestle into his lap for the briefest of moments. "You keep that up sugar and you just might get what you came here after." She winked at him before moving away, knowing that he knew there wasn't anyway she wasn't going to give him what he was after - but she did like the glint in his eye when they both pretended it wasn't a forgone conclusion.
"It will turn up," Sarah said, moving away from him and over to a rack and halfheartedly moving through a bundle of red dresses on the off chance that a green one was buried among them. "You know how it is with these sorts of things," She said, watching him over the rack of clothing as she walked around it, putting it between the two of them even as she kept her gaze steady. "The good things in life always have a funny way of showing up when you least expect them." Catching her bottom lip between her teeth, Sarah let her eyes roam his long, muscular frame before coming back to rest on his face, the edges of a smile quirked on her lips. "Just might have to find something to distract me from having lost my dress..."

When Sarah moved closer, shifting her hips against him he couldn't help but run his hand lightly up her side but he didn't press it any further. He knew his limits and if he kept playfully touching her he'd end up doing more then that and not caring where they were. He smirked at her words and shrugged carelessly, "Comes from being Irish, lass. We can't help but tell a woman pretty things when she rightly deserves them." He usually got away with most of his flirting by passing it off as a trait of the Irish, but it certainly had nothing to do with why he was so good at it or used it quite as often as he did.
Killian didn't respond strait away towards her next comments but he did keep a smirk firmly planted on his face. "That is the way of things," He said as she eyed him and he returned the favor. He certainly hadn't expected a breath of fresh air like Sarah to turn up in his life when she did but he enjoyed it immensely. "And what type of distraction would you be looking for?" His smirk widened into a grin with the question as his mind wandered to what they could be doing if she weren't otherwise occupied. He knew they'd end up there eventually so he wasn't in too much of a rush to get there.

"Ah, you Irishmen have a way of blaming a great deal on your blood," Sarah teased, running her fingers along the rack as she watched him with a smile tugging at the corners of her mouth. "Bad temper, taste for a proper ale, flirty nature..." She lifted her shoulders in a slight shrug and stilled again, lifting a hand to tap lightly at her chin, loving the way that she could practically feel the chemistry pulling between them. "Perhaps I should relocate to Ireland."
She had lost interest in searching for the dress now, the act of doing so more an extended farce to stretch out the time they spent in their usual pre-activity dance. Sarah enjoyed a quick mind on a man, and Killian had just that, if you stuck around long enough through the hard edges to find it. He always matched her flirt for flirt and she was always invigorated because she knew he could back up whatever it was his mouth happened to lay out - a rare find indeed. "Oh I don't know," She said, circling around the far end of the rack and pausing as she watched him, still several feet away. "I thought maybe you might be able to come up with an idea or two." And she was more than certain that he could, a few of them had already conjured in her mind as she watched his tall frame, lounging temptingly in the doorway.
