The Kitchens where all the German magic happens, if you'd like some strudel well you shouldn't be back here.

*NEW DAY ~ RESERVED* River stalked into the restaurant, his eyes narrowed in anger. The few customers in the restaurant seemed to sense the tension he felt and steered clear. He stopped one of the waitresses and gave her a reassuring smile when he saw a flicker of unease in her eyes. "Can you tell me where the owner is?" She pointed him in the direction of the kitchen and he said a small thank you before heading over. His scowl deepened as he approached and pushed the door open. He had one thing on his mind and that was setting the record straight with Danny and giving the kid a good punch to the face for putting his hands and lips on Miranda. The guy didn't hear him open the door so he took the opportunity to study him. The first thing he noticed was he was short and River couldn't help but smirk over his height. Other then that he looked muscular but nothing River couldn't handle. "Hey," He said quietly stepping into the kitchen and letting the door swing shut behind him. He shoved his hands in his pockets and watched as the man turned. "You Danny? The owner?"

Danny had tried not to let the kitchens seduce him, really he had, but in the end he'd failed and he spent most of his time leaving his cooks without anything to do. Which was fine, he'd much rather do it all himself anyway, though he did have a cook on stand-by in case something took his attention or he had something he needed to do. It was probably the Italian in him, but cooking brought him a measure of peace he needed in his life. Especially right now. The measurements, the careful temperatures, the time. He liked putting a meal together, and most of the time he did it without thinking.
He wasn't short. He was the perfect height for everything he needed to do and he was a few inches taller than Lucky anyway. Though he supposed he could be considered short to someone whose head was a few scant inches from hitting the top of the doorway. "What?" He turned when the door swung shut, blinking in confusion with a wooden spoon in one hand. He'd been trying to decide if his sauce needed anything more than what he'd already put in it. "Yeah?" There were little red flags popping up in his mind, but he was shoving them down the second they made themselves known. "Can I help you?"

River's hands clenched and unclenched in his pocket as he continued to study Danny with narrowed eyes. He pulled his hands from his pockets and crossed the room quickly. Once he was standing in front of Danny he raised his hand and clenched it around his shirt. "You made the wrong move when you put your mouth on Miranda's." The words were said through clenched teeth and he couldn't stop himself from pulling his free hand back and throwing his fist in Danny's face.
River let go of him, practically snarling, "That's my girlfriend." He continued to glare at Danny, but didn't make a move to hit him again. Once was enough to make his point and if Dodger was right and Danny hadn't known that Lucky had a boyfriend then punching him again would be pushing it. "Don't know if you didn't know, don't care. You touch her again and I'll be inclined to do more then hit you."
