Food food... what was there in the Bronx for food? "I got it!" he said. "Let's head and grab some pizza at Lombardi's" he suggested. "I haven't had a good piece of Bronx pizza in I don't know how long!" he said with a wide smile
He offered her his arm to take to walk her the few streets over to take her for dinner and pizza. "Ready m'lady?" he asked. He couldn't remember the last time he'd gone out for dinner either where someone else wasn't paying, Red wasn't spotting him, or he had someone to really go with. He was very happy to be having some fun! He had money to blow, even though work had been fairly quiet lately what with the bay being nearly frozen. But who cared? Lombardi's was cheap, and good, so it was going to be worth the money to take her out to dinner.

Lexi chuckled as she took his arm, "Sounds good." She hadn't had pizza period in what felt like years. In fact, it probably had been at least a year. Usually she stuck with cheese and some sort of meat she could gnaw on.

He smiled as they walked down the street. "Alright... time for a quiz," he said. "What is your favorite thing on a pizza, and what do you despise?" he asked giving her a sideways smile. Pizza was always a good topic of conversation, especially for Italians... too bad he wasn't Italian. Or he didn't think he was anyway. He could have been mistaken, now that he thought about it, he wasn't sure he knew what he was. Not that it mattered much to him right now. What were they talking about? Oh yeah Pizza! "Or would you rather have nothing on it at all but cheese?" he asked putting on a face that seemed to think that was the silliest idea ever. You always needed something besides just cheese.
((OOC: Moving the thread to Lombardi's, still in the Bronx. Meet you there!))
