Along the back there are a few high tables with stools, they each seat two.

Dodger was starving, he'd perked up over the last little while a bit more himself then he had been in awhile and now he was indulging himself with something sugary and expensive. He smirked down at the ice cream like he was six years old, his spoon aimed high above his head before he stuck the mound with vigor.
The leader wanted his own thing, and he was the sugar kind of man at least. Plus, getting in touch with his inner child made the child that he'd let die not hurt as much. But it still dug, and it ached.. and he still wanted something more than just that bloke going to jail.
He wanted other people to pay.... he just had to remember how to do it. The Thieves Guild in the old days, he'd do whatever he could to cripple the family too. Then-- it hit him. The guild wasn't gone.. they were still around in a lot of ways... maybe it was time to get it back.

Lexi walked into Stu's fingering the coins in her pocket. She hadn't had to work nearly as hard lately because she only had to fend for herself. Reid was old enough to take care of himself so she didn't have to worry about that. Lately she'd been in a better mood but she'd still taken to brooding most of the day away.
As she glanced around the room, she spotted Dodger sitting at one of the tables. She couldn't help but laugh when she saw what he was doing. Walking over there, she tapped him on the shoulder and proceeded to wag her finger at him. "Didn't anyone ever tell you it isn't polite to play with your food?"
The slight smile that curved her lips was a rare sight these days but it seemed to be happening more and more often as time passed. Taking a seat next to Dodger, she sent him another smile and quickly dipped her finger in his ice cream. She curved it a bit to pull out a small bite and stuck it in her mouth with a twinkle in her eyes.

"Don't tease, love," he replied with a laugh spooning another bite of ice cream into his mouth. That smile was more than he could have ever asked for with Lexi. He raised a brow at her and watched her form, he couldn't help it. The woman was dynamite and all his, take that any other woman that wanted in his grill.
"Polite?" he smirked at her and then kissed her before god and everyone else, a smirk across his lips. "I've never put must stock in being polite unless you were removing other peoples valuables.."

Lexi laughed and pulled her finger from her mouth before resting her hand on Dodgers thigh. "Me, tease? Never..." Although she loved every minute of doing exactly that. Especially when it came to Dodger, mostly because he could give as good as she could.
A slight sigh escaped her lips when he pulled away from the kiss and she gazed up at him a small smile forming once more on her face. "What a lovely philosophy," Lexi quipped as she reached out to snag another bite of his ice cream.

He reached over and took her hand, holding it to his thigh with a smirk as he used the other hand to eat his ice cream like a little kid. Smirking at her, "I've been thinking about that a lot lately... " He looked over at her and gave her the kind of smirk he had when he was thinking about something he shouldn't be thinking about. With Lexi, he didn't have to pretend he could be, exactly who he was and that was something he'd always needed.

Lexi pouted for a split second when he grabbed her hand before she could reach his ice cream, but it was replaced by a charming smile a moment later. "Have you? You know it's dangerous to think that much." She grinned cheekily and ordered a water and a sandwich when the waitress came over. It'd been awhile since her last meal and she was starving. Glancing back at Dodger, she studied him for a moment. "So, what exactly have you been thinking about?"

He turned back to his ice cream when she ordered before he began to think, a serious look crossing his face. He'd never been honest with Moira sadly, he'd wanted to be but something kept him from telling her anything about him that was important-- the dark side of him he wanted to keep to himself.
"When I was a lad, just over from London I was recruited by a gang of sorts-- a guild of newsies that were part of all the boroughs but didn't really hold allegiance to any of them. Thieves... there were a few of us, all members pledging our loyalty to the guild first and our boroughs after.. " he took a bite of his ice cream and swallowed, still thinking it over. "The leaders were smart-- hidden in boroughs and they kept to their own for the most part, but we pledged for life. Don't think any of us realized what that meant unless the call came out.."

When Lexi had finished ordering and turned back to Dodger, she could tell by the look on his face that he was going to tell her something important about himself. It also seemed like part of him didn't want to tell her what was going on in his mind so she reached out and grasped his hand as he began talking.
Listening to what he had to say, she studied his face and squeezed his hand slightly. "So, you trust these people." It was phrased more as a statement then a question so she didn't expect him to respond and instead continued talking. "Are you looking to turn to them for something?" The only reason the thought even occurred to her was because of her brother. If she knew the sort of people Dodger knew she'd turn to them as well. She'd make sure everyone who had participated in the kidnappings was killed. She wasn't normally the type to be so bloodthirsty but she wanted to avenge her brother and in her opinion they were all responsible.
