Yeah, it may seem like an uninteresting place... that is until you investigate the thing growing in the corner.

Not going to even try to investiage anything in any corner. Dodger shoved his head into the sink and let the water wash over it before running his hands over his face. Clad in long johns the Bronx leader looked at himself in the mirror before grabbing his straight blade to shave. They were all getting older, one day at a time, things were changing, they wanted new adventures the lot of them. The bigger things got the more chaotic it all got.
He needed to talk to Lexi, that was going through his mind, talk to her about what had happened but he'd let it go a long time. Setting the blade down, his hand on the edge of the sink where he held it, he shook his head a few times to dislodge the depressing thoughts. No mate, your the bloody Artful Dodger. This meloncoly was getting old fast and he watched his own reflection int he mirror.
"Time to change, mate." he replied to the man looking back at him, a half of a smirk on his face before he drew the blade back to his neck and began to whistle a tune as he cut away the growth of beard he was getting. At least most of it.

Reid climbed out of his bunk, running a hand over his face as he tried to wake himself up. He'd gotten back to New York last night and hadn't done much besides pass out in his bunk. It had been a long trip, but it had been worth it. He hadn't done anything like that before, but then again he'd never met anyone like Rori before either. She had come into his life at the perfect moment and offered him the escape he had so badly needed.
Stumbling into the washroom, he mumbled a greeting under his breath to Dodger before splashing a bit of water on his face. It had been awhile since he'd seen him, but he still wasn't awake enough to say anything more. He didn't look forward to running into Lexi, but he'd be surprised if she'd noticed his absence. When he'd left she'd still wouldn't leave her bed. He had mentioned to someone that he was going, he just wish he could remember who.

"Welcome back, mate, no Lexi didn't notice you were gone.." he closed his mouth as he tilted his head to get to shaving, taking his time as he did so. His eyes were settled on the other man in the room, watching him for a long time even after he finished shaving. Dodger was the leader, he was supposed to know about the comings and goings.
Did help that Biride thought it was funny that Reid had a girlfriend. "... Aurora huh?"

Reid blinked owlishly for a moment when Dodger told him Lexi didn't notice he was gone. It was a relief, but he was sort of expecting Dodger to have something to add so he stayed silent. He couldn't help the smile that crossed his face when Dodger mentioned Rori. He nodded slowly, "Yeah, she's uh..one of a kind." He chuckled and rubbed the back of his neck absently.
That was putting it mildly but he had to put her out of his mind for at least the day. He needed to check on Lexi. He did feel guilty about just leaving her, but apparently it didn't matter much. He still felt as though he should've been around in case she needed him.

River was humming lightly under his breath as he walked into the washroom. "Morning," He said in a cheery tone as he headed towards the mirror. He should shave, but figured it could wait another day before it became necessary. A smirk fell into place on his lips as he gave Reid a sly look. "Hear you took off with our Rori...Hope it was a good time." He nudged him lightly before laughing when he saw how Reid's face reddened. "Should I tell Lex your back?" He shouted after Reid's retreating form and chuckled again when the kid gave him the finger.
He shrugged lightly before turning to Dodger with an innocent look on his face. "Was it something I said?"

There might have been a time that Emma wouldn't have come into the boy's washroom, but that time was LONG past. She actually did them one and had a towel in her hand this time, blue eyes bright and mischevious as she came into the room and tossed a towel at Reid.
"Mornin' boys," Yes she had no shame, it was clear as the smile on her face when she looked around the room. Just the three of them this morning? "Who's with me today, hmm?"

Dodger lifted a hand to River, clapping him on the back. "How's it goin' mate?" Though he had some things to talk to River about that effected the borough before he smirked. "Reid's taken a shine to Rori.... took off together recently." He nodded to the other news boy and smirked before pulling back and turning to Reid.
"Don't worry mate, Lexi is finding her feet again."
Any other conversation he would have tried was cut off by the sound of the door opening and a petite blond making her way in. Sighing he folded his arms as he watched the girl come in with a smile. "Not even, love. Not even." Though he felt like an older brother to Emma, fact was, she was more trouble than he was willing to tangle with.

River hummed under his breath as he continued to get ready, not glancing at the door when Emma walked through. It was hardly a surprise. He turned and frowned a bit when Dodger bowed out of helping her. He had plans that day, but he wouldn't let her go off on her own. His mood fell a bit but he offered her a friendly smile still, "I'll go."
With that he turned away and continued to get ready. "I need to get papers though, so you're gonna have to come with me first." If he was gonna have to stay in the Bronx today then he was gonna make a bit of money. He still had enough to last him a few days from the poker game he played the other night but a bit of extra cash never hurt.

She could have hugged him as a matter of fact after she walked up behind Dodger and hugged him around the waist, she moved over and waited for River not to have anything on him before she jumped on his back and hugged him, letting herself slip off before she tossed her hair over her shoulder, using their mirrors to secure it with the only nice thing she had. A comb she had gotten from her mother.
The girl flashed River a smile before kissing his cheek, "You won't regret it, after all, at least it won't be boring.." How many times had they ran because of something she'd said to someone in passing? Flashing him a grin she headed out of the washroom. "I'll wait downstairs. Hey Lefty!" she called as she slipped out, her voice lost as she got farther away.
