Take a seat.

Richie sat hunched over his drink striking match after match on the wooden table much to the displeasure of the owner. He'd never say anything, but whenever the fire seemed to get a little too big, he would send a waitress over to offer Richie another drink even if his cup was full, which he didn't mind. She was a doll and by the way she kept stealing glances and smiling at him, she didn't think he was too bad lookin' himself.
He had an old lady at home, but he was starting to get bored with her. She was always complaining about him being out all the time hanging in and out of bars and vaudeville shows where whores would be all over him. He always commented that she didn't have a problem when he met her there. This almost always ended the argument with her storming off or using her talents to convince him to stay, but it was becoming too predictable and though she was beautiful Richie eventually got tired of the same lips, eyes, and legs. Downing the remainder of his drink, Richie stroked his last match and held it up to his face, hypnotically watching the dancing embers.

Sonkai strode into the bar, glancing around before a scrunching her nose a bit in distaste. She'd been in a walking mood today but must have become turned around because she was absolutely clueless as to how she'd ended up in Hell's Kitchen of all places. She would have just kept walking and gone back to Irving Hall but she was thirsty and she wasn't in the mood to go back just yet. Schooling her features back to their usual emotionless countenance she strode towards a free table and took a seat before ordering a whiskey. It wasn't her normal drink but then she figured she'd just been spending far too much time with Sarah and had taken to it.
As she waited for her drink her eyes wandered around the dimly lit room and landed on a decently handsome man who seemed to be trying to light the table on fire. A slight smirk curled at her lips and she leaned forward, "Are you trying to burn the place down or are you just entertaining yourself?"

Richie's eye had been on her from the moment she came into his view. She was a looker, alright. He waved the match out and grounded whatever was left of it into the table. "Gotta stay entertained somehow." He invited himself over to her table and took a seat. "Not much need for that now that your here. What's your name, beautiful?"

Sonkai lifted an eyebrow at him and his words as he sat across from her. She had to admit to herself that he was incredibly handsome, even more so up close. Of course, she wasn't one to let that affect her actions. After all her job was to flirt with attractive men day in and day out. "Sonkai..." She trailed off, her eyes studying his reaction to her name. She had found that since coming to New York a lot of people didn't act as bias against her and her people. But she still had the skills to tell in minutes if someone was going to pose a threat to her because she was a gypsy.

"Sonkai," he questioned, "what is that, Russian?" Okay, so he wasn't exactly a genius when it came to the etymology of names. He picked up his empty glass and wondered why it was still empty. Seems the cute blonde didn't appreciate the new brunette who took his attention. She strolled toward them idly and roughly set down Sonkai's drink in the middle of the table causing a little to spill. She completely turned her back toward her, looking at Richie. She leaned on the table and over a bit so her cleavage was very much visible. "Can I get you another drink, sir?"
Richie smiled. He couldn't help it. The likes of her always got jealous around him. What could he say? His girl was the same way. "No, I'm fine sweetheart."
She smiled and leaned over further, even grabbing his tie and twirling it. "Are you sure," she asked in a bit of a sing-song, "there's nothing I can can do for you."
As stated before, Richie grew very bored very quickly. He sighed and took out a folded bill and handed it to her. "Here you go. Go buy yourself somethin nice." You'd think she'd take this as an insult, but after seeing how much it was she simply smiled and tucked it away in her blouse before walking away.

Before the waitress had walked to far from hearing range Sonkai put on her sweetest smile and tugged at her sleeve, pulling her close. "Sweetie... if you want to get a mans attention you shouldn't be so obvious." She smiled sweetly and leaned forward to pluck the girls top up an inch or two. It was after all very close to showing everyone around everything she had to offer. Her tone was low enough though that no one would take notice and when the girl gave her a disgruntled look she merely smiled coolly and raised her glass to her lips before focusing on her companion.
"Romanian, actually..." Her lips turned up into a smile rather than a smirk. "Now you know my name...what's yours?" She sipped her drink before lowering it to the table and reaching out to run her hand down the mans arm.

He grinned at Sonkai's advice to the waitress. "She wouldn't act like that if she knew you weren't mine."
Richie didn't know too many Romanians, granted he didn't go around asking peoples nationality. His grin grew into a closed smile when she touched his arm. He gently grabbed her hand and kissed it softly. "Richie. Richie Fitzpatrick."

Sonkai merely shrugged at his words, she was used to women behaving that way because of something they assumed. Part of her enjoyed toying with them and pressing their buttons. When he lifted her hand to his lips a small smile crossed her face. "Well, Richie Fitzpatrick, you seem like quite a flirt." Not that she minded in the least, it was fun to occasionally indulge in flirting or playing with someone.

Ricky gave a small, charming smile at her last remark. "A flirt, me?" It's true that Ricky had the reputation as being somewhat of a lady's man, but he was harmless...in that respect, anyway. "No, I simply enjoy fine art. I'm a collector of beautiful things."

Sonkai's eyebrow shot up and she gazed at him with a smirk on her face, "Ah...tell me do you intend on collecting me?" She couldn't help the playful tone that crept into her voice. She wasn't usually this cavalier with someone she'd just met but he was interesting and didn't use the pick up lines she was used to.

Richie just smiled at her question as he tapped his glass on the table, matching the gaze she gave him. "Adding a diamond to a brass ring wouldn't make much sense, now would it?"

Sonkai let out a small laugh and shook her head, "It's not something on my mind honestly." She'd never imagined herself settling down and marrying. Her family hadn't raised her that way, the only thing she wanted was to have the freedom of the open road and enjoy any experiences that caught her fancy along the way.

Marriage was the furthest thing from his mind. Richie didn't think much about it. His current relationship was the longest he'd ever been in and he wasn't even faithful to her. He just couldn't see himself with one girl for the rest of his life. She obviously misunderstood his meaning which caused his smile to grow and a small chuckle to escape from the back of his throat. He picked up his glass and attempted to take a drink before remembering it was empty.
"No, no, no, doll. s'not what I met."

NEW DAY~FOR LOGAN [/b][/size] Devan had been in Manhattan for awhile now but she still managed to get herself turned around and lost because she was too deep in her own thoughts. Ki was not going to be pleased with her if she wasn't waiting for him when he got home. She paused outside of a nondescript pub and entered without taking her surroundings into account. Instead of asking for directions back towards a familiar area and looking like a daft little girl, she merely sat at a table and ordered a pint along with a bowl of soup. She hoped one of the patrons would strike up conversation with her and she could ask then instead of making a fool of herself. She didn't like feeling like she wasn't able to take care of herself, but she knew she did tend to let her head drift towards the clouds more often then not. It was probably why her parents had wanted Ki to follow her to New York. She was more then happy he was here but she knew he was also to keep an eye on her and keep her out of trouble. Of course, that's only if she didn't manage to drag him into trouble right along with her. She wished they'd had more time to explore the city but he'd been busy with work and since she hadn't found a job yet she'd spent much of her time exploring the different parts of New York City.
