PERSONALITY

In four words: Nice, sweet, gentle and kind. In all honesty, some people find him kind of a wuss, especially when on his own in a fight. If he has friends to back him up, he'll be fine, but when it comes to being on his own, he's not the bravest man in the world. Mush is more of a person who really believes you can talk almost anything out, and really isn't a fan of violence. That's why he and the majority of Brooklyn don't exactly get along.

However, he stands for things in his life, honor, chivalry, and freedom. He expects to be able to live life the way he wants, how he wants, and with whomever he wishes. Life shouldn't be so complicated, he thinks. A person is a person.

Mush is truly a smooth talker. He doesn't do it on purpose either, he's just like that, always has been, and always will be. He doesn't have to try, and yet he seems to attract people. Men find him a great friend, and girls find him... an inspiration and a tribute to how men should behave. It tends to get him in trouble, but he's not going to change just because of that.

HISTORY

Caleb doesn't remember much of his childhood, he doesn't really have much to remember. I thinks he had a mother that he sort of remembers. He remembers a time before lots of tall buildings and people. He remembers a nice lady, and large sprawling fields.

Caleb was accidentally put on an orphan train at a very young age. He was in a city, and just happened to get separated from his mother. He was put on the train, when people thought that he was an orphan. He was sent to New York, and got off at an orphanage there. he tried telling lots of people that he didn't belong there, but being so young they didn't believe him. Eventually, one night he heard some boys were going to run away, and he thought if he ran away he could run back to his mom. He didn't know his mom was out in the country, and he was deep in New York City. He thought it would be a good idea, so he ran away with some of the boys.

As they ran through the streets, eventually they ended up at the Newsboys lodging house in Manhattan. He woke up one day and found that the people who had run away with were gone. But the boys there quickly got him up, out of bed and onto the streets selling papers. He found he liked it so much that he'd stick around, and maybe his mother would find him.

As he got older memories faded and he forgot about his mother, the fields and such, and he figures that New York is really his home. He's stayed there ever since and decided he'd stay. The boys of Manhattan had become his family.
