[/size] She was born on June 15, 1883 in Coney Island to some very rich parents. Her parents died in a carriage accident when she was 10. She was placed in an Orphanage, and she escaped at 12 years of age.
She then ran away to Philadelphia, where she soon found work as a newsie. She met Jacob Boudreaux while out there, and he taught her the ropes. The 2 had a very strong bond from that point on, and were even a couple for a while.
Three years later, Jewel left Philadelphia one night with intentions of trying to find her sister. But she left with absolutely no word to Jacob, fearing that he or her fellow newsies wouldn't understand her reason for leaving, and she headed for New York. She was soon discovered by some of the Brooklyn Newsies. She then became a newsie in Brooklyn, and was there for a whole 2 or 3 months before leaving Brooklyn for the Bronx, where she currently resides.
PERSONALITY:
[/size] Being from an upper-class home, Julianne's mood was always down, hardly anyone could bring a smile to her face. She was a pessimist in a lot of ways. But her attitude has changed since becoming a newsie.
She is a lot more Out-Going. Known for being very Flirtatious as well with some of the boys. She really means now harm, but her flirty attitude has a habit of getting her absolutely nowhere at times.
