PERSONALITY

Achilles can be very brave to the point of stupidity at times. He's normally not really one for fighting, but will if he feels the need. He's no fucking pushover, he will stand up for himself if he feels it's the right thing to do. Some things are just worth dying or fighting for. Such as muffins.

He has a lack of self discipline and self preservation. He's not really one you can rely on, in this sense. He's pretty much reckless and careless. He runs his mouth to practically anyone and is pretty much a ticking time bomb, so to speak.

He's very possessive and protective. Don't touch his things -- or people. Anything or anyone he's deemed as his, you don't fucking touch unless he lets you and says otherwise.

He's outgoing and makes friends easily. He's pretty much the life of the party and loves (no, wait, demands) to be the center of attention. He talks quite a lot (and I swear loves to hear his own voice). He's just a people person, being surrounded by a crowd of people doesn't bother him, he quite enjoys it.

He's very blunt and won't hesitate to tell you what's on his mind, unless he's in a mood to be tactful. He swears often and doesn't sugar coat things. He expects you to be just as straight-forward as he is, expecting the same in return. Don't bite your tongue around him, he probably won't for you.

HISTORY

Achilles was born around midnight on September first. He was born in the Bronx, the only child to Steven and Joanne (née Sutherland) Waldgrave. Steven was the oldest one, a couple years older than his wife, Joanne. Achilles was the type of child always wanting to be the center of attention, even at early ages. His father was on the city council back when the Bronx was a city. He lost his job when the Bronx became a city, forcing himself to do whatever it took to make money, and by any means necessary.


He's been a newsie since...well, your typical early ages of being a newsbie. Since early childhood, especially since his father lost his job, it was also up to him to start supporting his family as well. Since then, he has taken up playing guitar and playing at pubs in Brooklyn and wherever as well as the selling of Opium, Morphine, etc. to scrap up money, not only for his family, but for himself since he's turned of legal age.
