PERSONALITY

Thomas is educated to a extent. He has 4 years of good soild education under his belt and other studies he did on his own. So he may seem arrogant sometimes but He doesn't mean it. If anything he trys to hide how much he really knows.

Thomas; although he hangs with others, doesn't like a
crowd to hover over him. Unless their buying papers of
course. He would rather spend his time with people who
he can gain from. Pepole who mess with him or only cause
him trouble, he'd have no trouble leaving behind. Thomas
doesn't like fighting, but will if he has to. Strong willed,
Thomas has high morals and condons lying. Though given
circumstances he will tell a red one once and a while.

His nickname he gives out; part becasue he has a Map of New York under his hat. Part beacuse he doesn't want people to know his name.

HISTORY

Thomas Alexander Evens was born, November 11, 1883 In Boston Massachesets.

The Evens family was a farming family. No city slickers in
the last 2 generations. Times were tough though, and when
their eldest son James Evens came back from New York
after working on the construction of the broklynn bridge.
They moved to New York; Queens to be exact under the idea
that it would get better. They started a life running a small
bakery; working in chain to a bakery next to them. Joining
together to try and boost sales.

However; there is a detail I have left out. The Evans family
consists of 5 kids. Thomas, being the second youngest felt
like he was doing nothing but dragging money from his
family. He was going to school, and his parents were
having to pay just to get him in. So doing what any bright
kid did, he ran away. At first he did nothing but live off the
streets trying to get cash however he could. Helping people
in return for money. Then he met the Newsies, and
instantly found a way to live for himself. He could do this.

He was going to have to. At least for now.
