Anya tends to be a quiet person around people she doesn't know. She doesn't talk much due to her English. She knows how to speak it but she thinks her accent makes her stick out and she doesn't like that. She is in love with books. She would spend all of her time in the Library if she could. She will read anything from The Awakening to A Strange Discovery.

When Anya is around people she knows she tends to be a big flirt and will drink you under the table if you let her. Other than reading she loves to sit on the roof and look up at the stars. If she doesn't like someone she has a habit of picking their pockets but she will start to feel bad and will end up giving your money back in the form of a poker game or bet. She loves life but has the tendency to be shy

History

Anya was born in Moscow Russia on July 4th 1882. Her family was middle class but her dad being the strict person and being Russian didn't believe that his daughters or wife should be treated special. He very rarely gave them anything other than what they needed. Because of this Anya and her sister spent most of their time hanging out with the street kids and doing random side jobs to make money to buy the dress they saw at a certain store or in Anya's case whatever new book came out that year.. When she turned 15 her father decided that he wanted to move the family to America. Anya and her mother were surprised at the sudden move but went along with it both hoping for a better life. Before they could move Anya's father was killed by the people he was trying to escape from. Over the next year the money disappeared and was followed by her mothers death. Anya and her sister were put into an orphanage. A couple of months later her sister was adopted because she was cute ad still a child and Anya was left on her own. She bought a ticket after her sister left with the money she had managed to save and took the next boat out of port that was headed to America

While living in Russia Anya had perfected the art of Picking pockets. She had gotten so good that her friends had started calling her ghost. She could have her hand in your pocket and by the time you realized what was going on she was gone. She continued doing this when she got to New York and has been looking for a place to live. She hangs around Queens a lot.
