ROSALIE SABINE LACROIX
NAME: Rosalie Sabine Lacroix
NICKNAME: Rose, Rosie, Li
AGE: 18
COUNTRY OF ORIGIN:FrancePERSONALITY
Rosie at her core is a social darwinist and opportunist. She believes that people get where they are due to how much effort someone does or does not put in, and those who cannot reach the bar fall behind. She does not see any shame in doing what is necessary to get what she desires, this is not limited to forgeries, lying, or cheating to a means. Yes she is the perfect lady on the surface, but she firmly stands by the Shakespearean quotation of "Look like the innocent flower, but be the serpent underneath."
She does have a softer side around those whom she is realtively close to. She has been known to have a deep maternal streak around younger children, often playing the piano and or violin for them or reading to them when the high society have gatherings. She can also be fiercely protective of her allies willing to call in favors in order to aid them.
Rosalie, is a very cultured young woman, taking piano and violin lessons up at the age of five and seven respectively, learning ballet around the same time frame. Her mother stresses the fine arts as a dance instructor, while her father stressed knowledge of other languages such as Italian, German, and English on top of French for communcation with potential future spouses.HISTORY
Rosalie was born eighteen years ago in Paris to a diplomat and a ballet dancer. Her childhood was often spent in the care of a governess, even going as far as to think of her caretaker, Nadine, as more of a mother figure than her actual mother. She spent the first sixteen years of her life in Paris before her parents sent her to America for a potential engagement contract with promises of coming as soon as they planned out their end.
The next few years, she will admit were a bit strange to her. She had Nadine of course, but being in such a strange country barely speaking the language was a bit of a strain for her emotionally. She still writes to her family back in France when she isn't teaching piano. She still remains homesick, though she has been adjusting a lot better than she was three years ago.Who are you?
