PERSONALITY

He's the friendly sort, honestly doesn't mind who he befriends. He loves making new friends and meeting new people. He will honestly befriend anyone, unless they give him a reason not to. He doesn't go out of his way to be rude to anyone and hates making enemies, so really doesn't do all that much to be disliked - this doesn't mean he's not well disliked or even hated, however.

He hates war, rivalries, bullies, and any form of conflict or confrontation, pretty much. This isn't to say he won't fight if he's pushed, but it takes a lot at times. If he feels it's worth fighting or dying for, he will, in all honesty.

Despite what some may think, Gabriel's actually very intelligent, he just chooses to hide it at times. He loves to read, write, study, draw, and sketch. These things are no secrets, he can be seen doing these quite often. Most of the time, he knows more than he lets on about things and is very good at pretending to be naive. He does the act well.

Simon York can be a manipulative fuck in his own right. However, with that said, it normally has to have some sort of benefit for him, despite however small, for him to just outright manipulate someone. It can be either very discretely without you knowing or it can be very blatant to where you do know it's happening.

Simon is one that thinks outside of the box, so to speak. Instead of there being an exception to every rule, he sees it as there being a rule to every exception. This is his logical way of thinking, in his mind. Others can see it as him being way too far out there in his imagination, but he honestly doesn't care.

He is a very driven person, a problem solver, always striving to find the best solution possible. He also does whatever is necessary to meet his goals as they are very important to him, whether or not it seems that way.

HISTORY

Gabriel was born on December 15 in Manhattan to Matthew and Marie (née Patton) York. Simon was the child always crying and constantly wanted to be picked up, held, nurtured, and spoiled. Not that he really needed it, his parents very much spoiled him anyway and were very affectionate towards him.

Simon was a Manhattan newsie until he turned twenty, upon which he became an artist, something he had always loved doing anyway. He had always loved art in every way, shape, and form. He has also always quite enjoyed drawing, sketching, and writing, something he still enjoys doing in his spare time.
