PERSONALITY

Emotions that Bonnie knows well would be anger and hatred. She despises her mother. She has mixed feelings towards her father. She admires him and his life, but still hates him because of where it put her. Many of her personality traits, she picked up from her parents though. From her mother she obtained the capacity to fall in love easily, make quick decisions, and thrive under dangerous circumstances. From her father came the ability to charm, be kind, and have courage. She has money, but gets along better with the poor. But those are all the good traits.
When shes happy, shes an angel. When shes mad - shes just like her parents.
You could call it bipolar, or you could just blame it on her blood and the kind of life she was born into. Either way, you dont want to get on her bad side. The less admirable traits she acquired from her parents would be her craftiness. She could be moody and ruthless towards people that she disagreed with. Though she has never killed anyone or even wanted to, she has certainly given them scars to think about.
She got her fathers looks, with a petite build and sparkling blue eyes; Her hair a mousy brown.

HISTORY

Myra Belle Shirley was a rich girl from Missouri that fell in love with Jim Reed. An outlaw in a gang with Jesse James and the Younger brothers. Although they were married, it didnt stop her from having affairs. She had 2 children supposedly from Jim, and then Jim died. Soon after, she met Sam Starr, a Cherokee indian who she married. Thats when she took on the name Belle Starr and became known as the Bandit Queen. Although she was happily married to Sam, there were still rumors and scandals of her many other men - including her long time friend from Missouri, and fellow outlaw - Jesse James.
Jesse James was also married with children of his own. But when he and Belle visited each other in the fall of 1879, it was like old times again... Soon Belle found out she was pregnant, and she knew it was Jesse's. She told Sam it was his, and didnt tell Jesse a thing. Bonnie Myra was born in June of 1880. In 1882, Jesse James was killed and Belle & Sam Starr was sent to prison for a year for stealing a horse - leaving 2 year old Bonnie with no one.
Frank James (Jesse's brother and partner in crime) took Bonnie home with him (unknowing that she was his neice) and kept her living with him since he was out of the outlaw business now and her parents were in too deep with the law. She was assumed his last name, and still got to be around her mother and claimed father regularly once they were out of prison.
During her years with frank and her mothers visits, she was taught to handle a gun and became just as good as her mother. Also she became acustomed to being in the saddle, and learned a few of her mothers "tricks of the trade" when it came to surviving. The only time her mother cared about her was when she thought she was training her to be just like her.
When Bonnie was 6 years old, Frank took her to a christmas party with her parents, where she witnessed her claimed father getting shot and killed. Three years later, her mother married again, and that same year was shot and killed. It wasnt until Bonnie was 16 that Frank found her birth certificate - and saw Jesse James named as the father. He was angry that it had been hidden from him and the greif overwhelmed him. Bonnie felt outcasted and decided to leave.
She took only her horse and what her saddle bags could hold - including her fathers Smith & Wesson revolver that her mother had "commendered", and the only pictures she had of her parents. She was tired of the country life and looking for a change, so she made her way east, and soon found herself in New York. Bonnie found work at a florist shop, and now sells flowers and arranges them on the street corner for a living.
