Scar saw Patches first and began to give her his charming smile before his eyes fell on Heather and the smile turned deadly charming. "Well, well....look who I've stumbled upon. Enjoying the sun, lass?"
He stopped in front of her, staring down at her eyeing her legs a bit before his eyes slowly traveled up to her face. He smirked, "I'm enjoying it." His eyes clearly showed that he was enjoying the view of her body much more than the sun.

"Obviously." Heather rolled her eyes, looking over at Patches, shaking her head. She swore, every girl in the entire New York had it going for Scar. Big ole wolf. Wolf with big big sharp teeth.
Turning back to look at the water, she moved her hand slightly. She had her gun with her this time, she was simply gesturing that she had it; not that she was going for it. "What brings you out here, Scar."

Scar smirked when she motioned that she had her weapon with her, he didn't think of her as a threat. But he knew better than to completely let his guard down around anyone, especially an Eastman. "Just enjoying my day off, Heather."
Her name slid from his mouth in a sensual way as his lips curved into a smile. He continued to let his eyes scan her body, stopping in various parts but mostly just traveling up and down. "What about you? Didn't think I'd stumble upon you for awhile, considering what you said about having to hide."

Heather rolled her eyes again. "Really..just...just drop it. You aren't getting me anywhere near your bed, or whatever you are thinking of." She smirked. "You could work on me for years..." In theory. She didn't do much without careful planning, without hedging her bets. And Scar was far to dangerous to touch, though he was pretty to look at.
"Well hiding out in the open is so much more fun, hmm? Besides, he doesn't come to Bronx much, anyways."

Scar laughed at her comment about getting her into bed, "Aye, don't worry lass I don't want you in my bed. I have a feeling you'd find something you'd rather cut off than enjoy." Giving a slightly obnoxious laugh to the thought he continued, "I just enjoy looking at a girl with as much fire in her as you have."
With a shrug he stuck one of his hands in his pockets and stared down at her. "I suppose some may think that's hiding, but I don't come here often and here I've stumbled upon you and I'm not even looking for you." He raised an eyebrow clearly telling her that her logic makes no sense at all. And if she doesn't want to be found then she better get herself lost somewhere more inconspicous than this.

Heather laughed, something she hadn't done in a while. "Why are all men so scared I'm going to lop things off?" She smirked. "My ex never complained." It was strange to call Lucas her ex..she knew they'd get back together someday, but that day wouldn't be for a while.
"Watch out, Scar...people might think you're worrying about me.." She smiled, patting the sand next to her. "I've been doing this for three years. Trust me, I know what I'm doing." She shook her head, nearly growling. "I'll hide out, but I won't hide myself away. I ain't letting my father win in ruining my life."

Scar smirked and took a seat, lighting up a cigarette. "For some reason you strike me as the kind of lass that is as mean and vengeful as me. That's why I took a likin' to you because you seem to know what you want and how to get it. Doesn't mean I trust you enough to take you to my bed." He meant that as a pure compliment. Considering most women shouldn't trust him enough to go to his bed, he just covered up very well and could use his good looks to get pretty much anything he wanted. "I suppose I wouldn't let my father ruin my life either." Of course his father couldn't ruin his life anymore considering Scar had killed him years ago.

Heahter laughed. "Me? Vengeful...." She smirked, leaning back on her arms. "How true that is." She looked over at him. "Somehow, I think you are one of the few that gets what's going on up here." She tapped her head. "Though yours is a bit more...blood-lusty than mine." She had mellowed slightly in her want to kill anyone who looked at her wrong. She couldn't end up like her father.
"Well killing him isn't an option. Not yet anyways. As I'm constantly told." She sighed, wiggling her toes in the sand.

Scar smirked, "What makes you think I'm blood-lusty? What happened at the butcher? That boy pulled a gun first, I just recipricated. I don't like someone having an upper hand on me. I figured you would feel the same."
After taking a drag of his cigarette, Scar used his free hand to run it through his hair. He studied Heather, but not in a sexual manner. This time it was more about him trying to figure her out. "Why can't you kill him? What are the reasons other people are giving you?"

Heather shook her head. "Your manner, your eyes." She looked over at him, her dark green eyes studying him, before flashing a rare, real smile. "I grew up around that look all my life. Trust, me I know it."
She shrugged. "He's still my father. And they don't feel the time is right." She smirked. "Besides, I see the reasoning in letting Kelly take him out. That way I come in and blow him out of the water, leaving me the sole standing." She chuckled. "Of course, you working for Kelly could cause problems."

Scar looked at her and smirked, "Kind of the same look you exhibit. I grew up with it as well, can't help but rub off on you." Scar didn't mention his life growing up to pretty much anyone. Most of the time people outside of the people he grew up with didn't know of his lineage so he didn't feel the need to share it. He figured though he wasn't giving away much of anything. New York was full of lowlifes his family just happened to have been in charge of some at one point or another.
"There is good reasoning behind that, then you can't have the blame put on you. Hate to see a pretty face like that lying in a pool of blood." He smirked and his eyes twinkled for just a moment to show he was kidding. He didn't touch on the mention of Kelly right away but gave what she said some thought. "I'm not inclined to fight for Kelly if that's what your trying to say. I enjoy making money and Kelly is a good way to make some. Believe it or not he's got bigger things going on in his mind than what he shows. I'd be careful if I were you if you really want to take him out. I'm not saying that because I work for him either. I'm saying it because I've seen what he does to people who try to take him down and it isn't pretty."

Heather smirked. "Well lying in the pool of blood can't be much different from being splattered in it." She looked at her fingernails casually. "I always thought I looked a bit...of something with someone else's blood on me."
She listened carefully, then shrugged. "My ex was a Kelly man...was his second in command for some time. Trust me, I understand what will be taking on if I push for power." She shifted, turning to look at him more fully. "I don't mind sharing with him, if he plays his cards right--I already know of the defections, Scar." Kelly over the past year had lost about thirty men to defection to Eastman. "He's pushing it; both him and my father are." She smirked, looking him over. "Besides, why work for him, if I can pay you more?"

Scar leaned back on his arm and smirked at Heather, "I wouldn't mind seeing you with a little of someone else's blood on you." That statement alone gave away the fact that he was a bit more than mildly insane. "Just a few drops."
When she went on to talk about Kelly's second in command Scar grinned, "Lucas, right?" Yeah, Kelly tended to carry on conversations with Scar. For some reason Kelly thought he was good at conversations. Scar figured it was because they were both fabulous at hiding their true colors from prying eyes. "Kelly may be losing men, but he's gaining more every year and he's got plans. That man definately has plans."
Of course, Kelly hadn't let him on all of his plans but he knew some of the basics. "Not that I wouldn't mind making more money, I don't fancy being bossed around by a woman. Outside of bed at least...." He gave Heather a wide grin and took another drag of his cigarette. "I don't imagine it will go over well with too many of Eastmens men either. Hope you have some strong people at your side, lass." He said the last part quietly staring into her eyes. It wasn't exactly like he cared but he knew that woman who tried to take too much power without enough muscle to back them.

Heather smirked. She couldn't really see the insanity in his lines. "You haven't seen me work wonders with a knife yet.."
"Yes, Lucas." She snorted, rolling her eyes. "Plans or not, I know his rich benefactors are getting annoyed, and the poor plebians that my father takes care of are defecting as well. Both are living by rules they can't hold onto for very long."
At his comment, something snapped shut in her eyes, her demeanor changing slightly. "Pity you...or they have that opinion of women. Men who want to completely dominate.....sad men, really. Not secure enough in their manhood." She pulled out a cigarette, taking a long drag. "They'll follow me or die. I wasn't raised to think like a woman; they know that. They'll deal or face the consequences."

Scar smirked at Heather, "I doubt that you are even exaggerating in the least. I don't think it's their insecurity that keeps them from following a woman. It's that we know that a woman could let her emotions get involved when a man won't." Scar didn't care a bit if he pissed her off, he wasn't afraid of Heather, regardless of if she was an Eastman. He didn't underestimate her but she didn't frighten him.
"Besides why follow a woman when you can lead as a man? That's the thing you have to think of Heather. Most men are going to be looking for that one oppurtune time to take you out. And most of the other men well they'll just look the other way." Scar shrugged as if it was simply a statement of life and to him it was.
