Bear went on and on saying things about their future." He couldn't stop himself, he was rambling on and on like a little boy and his eyes twinkled like none other.

Moon watched as her future husband was letting his mouth run ahead of him about their future. She was listening, but she loved that spark in his eyes that he had as he explained his life with her.
"Hey, honey. Uh.. I gotta tell ya somethin' actually. Yoah gunna have a sistah in law. I have a twin sistah." Moonlight smiled brightly at him, hoping it didn't affect him in any way.

Moonlight started to laugh histerically. Bear was being pretty damn funny from the looks of it, and since they were still at the SheepShead Racetrack, they were getting many weird stares, but at the moment, she hadn't had a care in the world.
When Bear kissed her, her face flushed since she had been laughing so hard and was out of air. "I love ya too, Jonah Whitman." She whispered into his ear, knowing he wouldn't want to hear it out loud since he didn't like his name.

Moon's eyes widened as large as the moon. "Twenty Dollars? Wow! How long have ya been a newsie foah?" Kissing him on his jaw line, since she was shorter, she smirked and put her head in his chest.

"Oh about since I was eleven. Five years." He replied stroking her hair. He told her everything about his past. He had never told anybody and it felt fantastic to get it off his shoulders. When he was eleven years old, his father thought he was too foolish and mischievous. Bear had never really excelled at school, his mind always seemed to be on other things then schoolwork. His trouble making always caused problems with his teachers and he never really was good at making friends. His older brother had always been smarter and well mannered, behaved. Bear had a stubborn streak he could never get rid of. He got in fights almost every day because of his dreaded nickname. His father had had it and decided to take Bear away to the city and get him some work, get rid of his trouble making ways. He went to go live with his grandmother who despised him just as much as his father. Bear loved his mother and missed her so much, he hated his father for taking him away. Then he got the terrible news. His mother had died of a bad fever, Bear had never even gotten the chance to say goodbye. His grandmother got sick of his stubbornness and threw him out onto the streets, disowned by his family, Bear found work as a Brooklyn newsie and had spent all his days ever since alone and selling papes.

Moon looked up at Bear with sad eyes. She took a big gulp, having a lump caught in her throat. "I- I'm sorry, Bear. Ya didn't have ta tell me all a' that." Thinking about her own past, remembering at the age of 5, Star and Moon's parents brought them to the Queens orphanage. Their family had been very poor, and they came all the way from Naples, Italy, where the twins were born.
When both girls turned 12 years old, the woman who ran the orphanage told them that their Uncle was going to pick them up and take them back to where he lived, in Brooklyn. But from past experiences, their Uncle was a drunk, and he was abusive at the same time. Instead of going with their Uncle, when they reached outside the orphanage, Moon and Star took a run for it.
Having been sleeping on the streets for a year, when they were 13 they found themselves at the foot of the Queens Lodging House, and have been newsies ever since. In the papers, it said that their Uncle died, but they have no idea where their parents are. Moon told Bear all this, hoping that they don't keep any secrets from each other. "Bear, let's tell each other everything, and not keep any secrets. Especially since we're gettin' married, I hate secrets."

Moon grinned back at Bear. "So..what are we gunna do now?" Smiling, she said, "Hey...I was wondering. Not now, but would ya evah want kids?" Blushing, she kissed him, then pulled back, waiting for the answer.

*New Day*
Steve sighed as the hours dragged on, he felt like he had been in these stables for hours that day. Maybe it was just the heat, but it was driving Steve crazy. It was not fun whatsoever to clean up the smelly stalls in the heat. He pushed open the doors to the stable, leaning against it to try to catch a breeze. It was just a slow day. He could hear the crowd cheering and yelling from the stands, things seemed surprisingly busy for such a lousy day. Steve just shook his head and twiddled his thumbs. Boring, Boring, Boring, Boring....

Piper strolled into the stables in hopes to see some horses to pet. It was a short day for rounds for Piper, already have a third of her papes sold and so she decided to celebrate by going to the tracks and get some sold. But she came in at a wrong time, most of the people were too into the races to buy from her, so she decided to go into the stalls, sneaking in all newsie like and hopefully wanting to pet a horse or two.
She walked in and instantly saw a white horse near her. She smiled, skipped over and started to pet it's mane.

Steve sighed once again and sat for the longest time, taking in the air and trying to escape the dreariness of stable work. Steve finally opened his eyes and turned to check on the horses, make sure they were all standing in their stalls, no problems or anything. That's when he saw a shorter, brown headed girl slipping through the west door, skipping over to Swirl, one of the females, a white one.
Steve walked over slowly, and came next to her. "Sneaky one, huh? Go head, don't matter to me, slong' as you don't get caught because If my boss finds out I let you in here, he'll have a cow."

Piper turned around and saw a young boy maybe her age or older talking to her about being caught, but that it was okay to pet the horse. She smiled and look back at the horse, who was sniffing her for something to eat. She smiled and took out something from her bag that was around her shoulders. It was carrot she knicked from a local vender.
She showed the carrot to the boy with her head tilted to the side, "Is this fine to feed her? I mean, I don't want you to get in trouble and all."

"Is this fine to feed her? I mean, I don't want you to get in trouble and all."
Steve gave her a small smile and nodded, "Yeah, its fine. Go head'. Just one though. I won't tell her jockey."
He reached out to pet the horse as well, looking the girl over carefully. Steve wasn't the nicest, he wasn't the meanest though either. He just was kind of quiet.
"Her name's Swirl," He told the girl, gesturing the horse. Steve had a secret, out of any of the horses, Swirl was his favorite. He didn't even like horses, but Swirl was different, she actually listened when Steve talked to her, and made him feel better sometimes. Steve smiled again.
