"Well, rambling is fantastic when you're lookin' to avoid getting to something that really should be gotten to but hasn't been yet, but I suppose we could stay in here and sit and wait but eventually I should eat some food because I haven't eaten all day but I don't want to throw up on an audience....your turn."
She faked exhaustion by putting her hand on her head. Sh was trying not to think about the cuteness of the boy that was becoming more apparent to her.

Rex turned to look at her, his mouth hanging open, his mouth wide in pure amazement. She rambled better than him, and as far as he knew, he could ramble anybody's heads off.
"Well, fidgeting and rambling is better than sitting still and doing nothing and yeah, I'm starving too I could eat a horse, did I say horse? hehe I don't want to eat a horse, but yeah I am hungry and you should definitely eat if you haven't eaten all day, on me?" Rex finished finally and grinned, reaching for her hand to help her up.

She took his hand and was still laughing to herself when he said that he could eat a horse.
"Alright, sounds fine. Just gotta make sure I get back here in time for rehearsal. Where should we go?"

Rex smirked, "Where else than the famous Tibby's? That's the only place I hear about when I come to Hattan'. And you'll be back in plenty of time. You really need a bite of food before you perform you know, you don't want to pass out on stage on your opening night."

"You have to remember, I don't want to throw up on the audience either." She laughed and took his arm playfully, dragging him to the doorway. "Tibby's, huh? I don't know that I've been there too often. Good food?"

Rex nodded grinning. Any food was good food to him. He hoped they had chocolate milk at Tibby's, it was one of his essential needs, not really, but Rex really loved chocolate milk, and after a long afternoon at work, chocolate milk was like coffee to him, it got him through the day. "Yeah, I'll just lead the way, m' lady." He told her with a bow, grinning and tipping an imaginary hat to her. They walked out of Irving Hall together, and started towards Tibby's. (You want to start at Tibby's?  ) |
