Twich walked down by the river banks, he wrapped his arms around him self trying to keep warm. He had never wished harder for a pair of shoes. He wondered where he would sleep that night. Probably under the bridge he thought. He really like it there even though it was cold.

Blink snorted, his pants rolled up to his knee, dangling his legs in the water as he smoked a cigarette, glinting in the sunlight through his good eye. Ahh man..it had been a good selling day, had gotten an extra big tip from some ugly woman he called pretty...

Manhattan walked the riverbank spotting Blink hanging close to the edge of the river. Meandering over she bumped him with her hip so just maybe he'd lose his balance and fall in. "Look out!!!" she cried and she smiled crookedly

Alexandreia had decided to do a little exploring before meeting up with her brothers to get dinner and now she had no idea where she was. Thank god it was just midday and not late at night. She looked around and decided she would ask someone but for now just enjoy a little cool down by dipping her feet in the water. Alexandreia slipped her shoes off and lifted her skirts before sticking her toe in the water, testing it.

Avalanche had a day off, so he'd worked his way through New York. He didn't spend a lot of time in the Bronx typically, but that's why he decided to come and say hello. He was making his way through to do just that when he caught site of a woman dipping her foot in the water. ...Avalanche had a cruel thought in his mind...
He walked over towards her quietly he grabbed her by the shoulders. He thrust her towards the water, but didn't let go and pulled her back up quickly onto dry land. "Saved your life," he said with a bright and charming smile which quickly melted away into jovial laughter. He couldn't help it, he'd always wanted to do that to a perfect stranger!

Alexandreia bit back a scream and when he pulled her back, she spun on her heel and smacked him square across the face. Her face showed her anger quite plainly, "You are the rudest man I've ever had the displeasure of laying eyes on!"

Avalanche deserved to be hit, he admited it, but he couldn't control himself and he just kept laughing. "I'm sorry," he said through gasping. "I really am... but you shoulda seen the look on your face," he said shaking his head. He finally got his laughter under control and stood up straight once more.
"I truely am sorry about that... just something I always wanted to do," he said with a shrug. "You just... happened to be there so..." he couldn't get the smile off his face, despite how sorry he was. "If you wanna hit me again I'll let you," he said. He deserved it, and knew it, but didn't care much.

Lexi's anger evaporated at his goofish-ness, "Nah I don't think you'll be doin' it again so I won't hit you again." She did back away from the water though, just in case he tried. One thing she'd never been good at was swimming, she'd been afraid to try it out, but she loved to dip her feet in. "Do you always like doing things like that to complete strangers? Or am I just special?"

Avalanche chuckled as he got his laughter under control. "Ya special," he said standing up straight. "And you was askin' for it," he said with a smirk. He finally got himself under a form of control, yet was still chuckling between words on occasion. "My friends call me Avalanche," he said offering her a hand, "but my name is Alexander, Alex for short. And I'd like to apologize again," he said sincerely. You could tell he meant it now because he'd been able to control his humor.

Alexandreia just smiled at his comment that she was asking for it, with two younger brothers she was quite used to getting messed around with. When Avalanche introduced himself she couldn't help but let out a little laugh as she took his hand. "Nice to meet you Alex, I'm Alexandreia or Lexi for short." She smiled, thinking that it was an incredibly small world that the first person she met in New York had almost the same name as her, of course not quite considering he was a he and she was a she. "You don't have to apologize again, once was enough. I have two brothers, I'm really quite used to being taken by surprise."

He smiled. She reminded him of his own sister. "Nice to meet you Lexi," he said laughing a little. He always found it funny when people met their male or female counter parts to their name. Made talking confusing on occasion, but it was always entertaining, which Avalanche loved.
"So, what were you doing down here on the riverbank, if it isn't too bold of me to ask. that is... beyond me saving your life and all," he said with a chuckle.

Lexi smiled, "Ah, yes, saving my life." She laughed and gave him a small shrug, "Just enjoying the view. Although I am a little lost." She felt bashful admitting it, but she needed to find her way back eventually, "I'm new to the area and I wanted to go for a walk to get to know it and I ended up here although I have no idea how I ended up here."
