Lucky blinked a few times then laughed, "Oye, Prince..." She shook her head and then sat down. "Alright, alright. It's been slow at the track.. haven't had a chance to win some cash lately."

Prince smiled broadly. "Nah, think nothin' of it, it's no big really. Headlines have been pretty good recently, so I got change ta spare, trust me. Eat to ya hearts content. Maybe I'll join ya," she said with a small smile. She leaned back in her chair as she acctually took her coat off, but left her hat on, and hair up, as usual.

Lucky smirked a bit and nodded, "Whatever you say. But I have to warn you, I can put away more food then most full grown Irish boys.." She winked at her friend and then laughed, tugging off her coat and setting it beside her. "So, the headlines are good eh?" She didn't know, you tended to have to be personable to sell newspapers and though Lucky was friendly when she thought about it. She wasn't to keen on having people she didn't know so close. She could sell when she had too. Bother, it was getting to that whole, have to point.

She smiled a little. "Yeah, goin' great. Lots of things been goin' on recently," she said nodding. She kicked back a little. "Ain't been sellin' recently I assume, since ya don't know. You read the papers?" she asked casually. She wasn't trying to be smart and sarcastic (for once) and was honestly curious.

Lucky laughed and shrugged, "I'm a gambler by nature, Prince. Though sellin' papes is it's own kind of gamble I'm not always to keen on letting people get close to me.." She leaned back and watched the people move around in the ice and snow. "I read the last few headlines, I always wonder if the writers make up as much as the newsies do.. or if it's true.."

Prince chuckled. "Well... it varies I think," she said nodding with a smirk. "Sometimes the newsies lie, some times the headline writters, but if we didn't, we'd all be broke. New York runs on lies... how ever sad that may be..." she said with a slight sigh. But even she was living proof that lies could keep you alive. "Speakin' of gamblin'... won anything recently?" she asked, continuing on the conversation.

Lucky laughed and shook her head, "Haven't been able to scare up a good game without going intot he old gambling halls. Won a couple games, but the betting at the tracks been murder.." she smirked a bit. "Ah, tis the season... to be broke and the like I guess. I'm gonna start having to sell papes to make ends meat again.." She winced over dramatically, to show she was joking. "Oh what's to come of me.." she said setting her hand on her forehead, fluttering her lashes. She started to laugh, shaking her head. "Heh, seriously though. You're always about business Princeness..." she said, slipping into the old nickname she'd bestowed on the Queens leader. "Live a little, you don't have to be in leader mode all the time. Must drive JackJack bonkers.."

She laughed, "I really do love when you say that.. " She sat down and pulled off her coat, her teeth chattered a minute. "It's to cold this winter.." She knew what she wanted, she was a true sucker for Greek food.

She laughed, "The coat is fine.. it's pining after my hat I'm having a problem with. I need to go buy myself a new one.. " She sighed a bit, then laughed. "I've been wearing my hair down because my ears can't handle it if I don't.."

Sneaks smiled. "...you look beautiful with your hair down, Miranda...keep it down..." He brushed a few strands behind her ear.
