Trudging silently through the park, head down, Slinks looked far from the tough Brooklyn bird that greeted the world with a grin and a finger.
If Brooklyn lasts...It'll be a miracle. What with the way things are going now...
Hand straying absently to the six inches of wood that served as a handle for her walking stick, she gave the gravel a scuffled kick before climbing up the small flight of steps into the wooden structure. Distractedly, she leaned against one of the supports, looking out at the park without seeing.

An arm curled curled around her shoulder's, and someone gently kissed her temple. "How are you holdin up, dahlin?" Ace asked lightly, already knowing the answer to that.

Leaning back into Ace slightly, she looked down at the railing under her hand. "Same 's usual." She murmered, the corner of her mouth turning up into a half-smile.

<<new day>>
Strolling down the sidewalk nonchalantly, Coop watched the sun rising. He always felt a sense of peace in the early morning. He sat in the gazebo peacefully. Having the history he had in this borough, Coop knew it wasn't a real good place to be, but he needed to go back. He was a Brooklyn boy born and bred and nothing could keep him away for too long. Still, it wasn't a good idea to let his guard down even though he saw no one around. After a short while his eyelids became heavy and in a matter of minutes he was asleep.

Smokes walked down the road, her cigar lit in her mouth. She noticed a boy sleeping in the gazebo. As she got closer she smirked.
Here she was not even lookin' for him and just happened to find him. She stood over him, patting the object in her pocket. "Well, well, well, if it aint ol' Farlan."

Coop's eyes shot open at the sound of the familiar voice. He looked at Smokes and a twinge of fear showed in his eyes, but didn't seem to last long.
"Where's your brother?" He asked nervously.

"He aint the one you gotta worry about."
Smoked pulled a small pistol from her pocket and pointed it directly at Coop. Suddenly as small voice in the back of her head wouldn't allow her to pull the trigger. It was that boy from earlier. He got to her somehow.
Not even a minute later, she twirled it around her finger and then put it back into her pocket. "I aint gonna kill you. Go, run away. But this time, down come back." With that she walked away.

Flanna sat down in the gazebo, stairing off into the setting sun. She wasn't even sure why she was back in Brooklyn right now. By all accounts she shouldnt have left Wolf's apartment...

But for Razor, it was a good thing she had. Biting a little on his bottom lip, he stepped up behind her, hands in his pockets. "Hey." he cleared his throat. "....If you deck me...will it make it easier to talk to me?"

Flanna looked back to him, her green eyes wrought with emotion. "..How could you? I...I've been through so much...and you just...dumped...destroyed me." She bit her lip. "...Why?"
The fact she was even talking now and not walking was a good sign.
